James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing is a third-person shooter video game based on the James Bond films. It was developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts under EA Games label for GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.

007 Everything - Description

Bond. James Bond. Save the day again with 007's stylized charm, Q-gadgetry, fast cars and of course...destructive mayhem! A new third-person perspective submerses you completely in this action-thriller. Experience multiple ways to complete your objectives—from brute force to spy-like subtleties—and save the world from untold terror!

Gameplay

This game is a mix of third-person shooting/action and vehicle sequences. In third-person missions, Bond can often use cover. Engage in hand-to-hand action. Use gadgets. And perform actions and race.

The game is similar across each console. Aside from minor graphical and sound differences.

Another version was publish for the Game Boy Advance. And can be link to the GameCube version. Game Boy Advance link cable. And provide unique content.

The Edge

Although Electronic Arts does a good job of making sure its multi-system games. Also these are pretty comparable across all three platforms. However, there are always advantages to certain consoles. But unsurprisingly, the Xbox EoN looks the best. Moreover, it's not pushing the limits of the hardware.

On PS2, there isn't as much graphical degradation as you might expect. And the four shoulders are handy in many situations. So, let's call these two a draw, which brings us to the GameCube. But Nitendo definitely comes in third here, mostly due to the lack of buttons.

However, on Xbox and PS2, you have separate buttons for hugging the wall and crouch. Also on the 'Cube, both moves are done with the Z-button, which sometimes means you crouch when you want to hug.

Concept:

Out with FPS, in with over-the-top third-person adventuring.

Graphics:

Not an award-winner. But as solid as you expect from an EA product.

Sound:

Mya's Bond theme is even worse than Madonna's. But it does feature a great score and tons of celeb voiceovers.

Playability:

Moreover, the usual complaints (camera, auto-aim) don't detract too much from the experience.

Entertainment:

But it's good to see EA taking chances with this property again.
