The life of a ninja is full of perils! Your father was a ninja, but a mysterious half-human/half-beast creature killed him. You are Moonlight, trained in the ways of the ninja since a young age. After your father’s death you have sworn to find his murderer and avenge his death.

You are equipped with several ninja weapons, and must fight your way through a series of stages on your way to confront and destroy your father’s murderer. When the game begins you’re armed with a katana, a supply of shuriken throwing stars, some throwing bombs, and a sickle and chain weapon known as a kusari gama. You can switch between these weapons at any time, and can determine which weapon you want to power up by choosing it before you pick up a power-up icon.
