The Master Quest version of Ocarina of Time contains the same overall storyline as the original Ocarina of Time adventure. However, the dungeons have been upgraded to be truly challenging, even to a Zelda master.

Zelda Ocarina of Time Master Quest
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-Master-Quest (JP) is a remake of Ocarina of Time. Originally schedule for release as an expansion for Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64DD. But due to the failure of the Disk Drive, the expansion was never release on it. However, the game was turn into a standalone game. And release on February 2003 on the same disc as an enhance emulate port of Ocarina of Time.
As the Master Quest is a remake of Ocarina of Time. Also many of the dungeons were redesign to add difficulty to the game. It is consider to be the version of Ocarina of Time for those who have already complete the original game.
While the port of the original game remains almost unchange. A few alterations were make to accommodate for the GameCube Controller. The most notable is the buttons upon pausing. But on the menu, the start, A, and B buttons are display. The start button returns to the game. The A button selects what is highlight. And the B button saves the game. Originally, the start button was red. But was change to the GameCube’s grey in the port. The B button was originally blue. But change to the GameCube’s red in the port. The shapes have also been change to accommodate for the controller. The Master Quest also include in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. However, unlike the GameCube version. The 3DS Master Quest mirror and all the enemies deal double damage....
