This exceeded my expectations in every way. This is my first foray into sports sensors and OMGOSH this is like being in the PGA with millions in research at your disposal. But now you can do computerized swing analysis for a fraction of this with your phone of all things. Amazing. The sensor fits on your golf glove and doesn’t impede you in any way. Connecting to the app is easy and quick and you will be swinging away! This is nice because its really hard to see yourself but the sensor and the phone do it for you so the areas for correction are evident. Very useful! I’ll be using this to refine my swing and correct errors without annoying myself to death on things to remember while swinging. This helps you burn it in to muscle memory and the instant feedback lets you know you got it! So put on your crazy plaid golf shorts and get your swing on!
I love this product! Like a lot of high handicapers, "coming over the top" on the downswing is a major hindrance to a good swing. Zepp gave me the visual to see what I was doing wrong and provided short video lessons on how to correct it. I am hitting the ball the best I ever have. I’d highly recommend it.
Brilliant
First off, this is not a verified purchase. I do indeed own it. Bought it a couple years ago at the “brown and green” brick and mortar sporting goods store in the U.S. There i got it for a little over $100, with a % coupon and store cash. It’s worth that, $150 ?, eh, shop around or buy used.Its worth noting, I did when purchasing 2 years ago, get the app off Google Play store where for some reason it’s no longer there. Strange. Have read several review complaints about that. I can see where people do not want to download an outside source app outside of the Google realm. A person can create an app and get it on the Play store to photoshop hats on ones dogs, but not a golf swing analyzer? Hmm. The developer needs to remedy this issue. No doubt hurting sales. I have not contacted customer service, so do not have experience there. Don’t know of any more development in a year or so, but like i mentioned, I have the GP app installed.Overall, I like the device. It’s not perfect, but my swing is a long ways from that also. Have probably used 20 times in 2 years. I’m a big believer that you have to put effort into something to get any reward from it. Zepp is no different. It is a range/net practice device. The social media and on course part of the app I have no interest in. You have to put the time in to set the device up properly. The sensor must be calibrated intially, and one BIG key, set up your grip strength under your profile. Match your grip to how you g.
Purchased this as I’ve got a huge tendency to slice the ball, and I prefer to try and work out where I’m going wrong rather than go for an hour lesson a week. This is about the same cost as 3 lessons, and having only used it twice, I’m already seeing where I need to change my swing.It gives real time feedback, so when you play a shot that feels right and the result is right you can replay the action straight away from your phone. It shows the entire swing, including where the power band is (for adjusting feet), plus club speed and you also get different angles so you can see what’s going wrong.I’ve already increased the accuracy of my shots by around 40% so hopefully I can transfer than onto the course.Can be a bit fiddly to calibrate at first (which you need to do before each session), but swings upload to the cloud and you then get analysis from the app as to where to improve. Great little purchase, and can help everyone from beginner to low handicap golfers, just by showing minute changes which will help.
