I never play Twisted Metal 1 but I did play and own 2, 3, 4, Small Brawl, and Black. Let me tell you something, Twisted Metal 3, 4, and Small Brawl sucks. When Twisted Black came out it save Twisted Metal. Maybe that’s why no more companies kept making Twisted Metal. There are controls are horrible in Twisted Metal 4. You might get stuck next to a wall and you can’t get out after 5 to 10 seconds. The worse part is you can’t even choose the opponents just like in Twisted Metal 3. If you work for a company that designs video games and wants to make a new Twisted Metal game you need to make some levels that base on REAL locations. I guess that’s why everyone likes Twisted Metal 2:World Tour that much. I like Twisted Metal 2 and Black. But mostly #2 is the best of all. An annoying thing about Twisted Metal 4 is you have to push the stupid X button to move the car. the forward button does nothing in this game. Why would 989 Studios make some rotten controls like that?
It is what i expected. Even 15 years old it works like new. The only thing that skips is the soundtrack for each stage (during a lot of combat action). This isn’t new, every Twisted Metal 4 that I have ever played, all of the soundtracks have skipped (4-6 different cd’s). Everything else including the booklet is in good condition.
Nostalgic classic game that I couldn’t find at stores. Only downside is that it comes in a blank cd case with no game booklet. Oh well..

Good game I enjoy the game but I must say Twisted Metal 2 is still the best of the series.
If you’re feeling tired of playing new games and just want to kick some ass old school style, then I’d definitely recommend this for you.

Very fun no problems with loading
I bought this game not to long after it came out. I own all of the Twisted Metal games, and TM4 was good but not as good as TM 1&2. The game play was really awesome, and easy to control although i thought they could of had a more creative sound track. All in all the game was awesome. If anyone is new to Twisted Metal, buy the newest game called Twisted Metal small brawl. It has the same game play as 1&2, but you get to destroy r/c cars instead. If your like me and you got to own all of the twisted metal games. I would recomend buying this used if you can find it. Because you still get the game and u can buy small brawl to.
One of the best and one of my favorite twisted metal games ever! I still tend to play a very few selection of ps1 games and this is one of them. Another childhood gem hehe
