What can I say? This game is awesome!!! It follows closely to the Arnold flick and is loads of fun. If you still kick it old school like me and rock Genesis games you must buy this game. Cahm ahhhnnn dooo it!!!!
This is one of the funnest yet most overlooked games for Sega. Most people I talk to have never even heard of this game. I happened to rent it at Blockbuster Video in the mid 90’s and became instantly hooked. I re-rented the game like 3 times before finally telling the store it had been “lost,” (I used my birthday money to pay the store). Since then I play this game at least 3 times a year from start to finish. Here is why I love this game:- Unique overhead perspective that blows away both 1st persons and side scrollers- Impressive graphics, color, and animation- Excellent control, very playable- Very cool sound effects- Awesome weapons (9mm pistol, 12 gauge shotgun, uzi, grenades, flame thrower, mines)- Cool items (magazine clips, shotgun shells, 1st aid kits, free lifes)- Satisfying amount of blood and gore- Storyline that is true to the movie- Level of difficulty that is challenging enough to be fun yet not impossible- A great variety of levels instead of the same old boring scenery over and over- Also a great variety of enemies and bosses- Password saves after each level- Background music that is only slightly annoyingThe bottom line, you will love this game!

I remembered this game from when i was a kid so i was excitedfor it but sometimes u can be disappointed with childhood games that u realize now r corny…this isnt 1 of them this games as great as i remember fun overhead shooter game hard but beatable good price shipping was a little long but great buy
True Lies the video game is action packed! You play as special agent Harry Tasker(Schwarzenegger),who shoots his way through terroists to prevent a nuclear holocaust to stop the Crimson Jihad.The game is pretty true to the film.A little bit better maybe..in my opinion.There are cool weapons you can use to mow down the terroists.Weapons such as a pistol,shotgun,uzi,flamethrower and more.The view of True Lies is top down.Sort of like Soldiers Of Fortune or Zombies Ate My Neighbors.The gameplay is excellent…and so is the soundtrack.It’s not too hard and not too easy either.It’s just right.There are a few difficult maze-like puzzles in some of the levels,but other than that,it’s pretty simple.There is also a password system,that you can use to put in passwords for getting to a certain level,or putting a cheat code in.Overall,True Lies is a very good game.I highly recommend it,if you love a great action game.*Tip*If the game gets a little too tough for you,type in BGGRLY in the password screen for infinte health
