One of the most anticipated sequels in recent memory, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 builds on the addictive gameplay of the original by adding many new tricks and features. Its addition of stellar new features like Create a Park, and great game-play tweaks made it the best installment in a killer series of games. Of course, with all of those new tricks to master, there are also more detailed accidents: scraped knees, broken boards, and wall and (ouch!) pole collisions. Still, there isn’t a bad park or dull moment, just pure gaming nirvana!

this game is much better than the original. It has great graphics. You can be a lot of differt skate boarders including of course tony hawk. You can make up your own skate boarder and make your own skate park. You have challenges that if you suceed in them you will get money. Some of the challenges deppend on the course, but challenges like sick score come on every level. With money you can buy stuff like new moves, skate board, and skate park of course. You keep on going up levels. You can find secret levels. This game is very fun and exciting. If you have a playstion, playstation 2, N64,or computer this is a must get game. I played this game for a first time and i was glued to it. Even if your not good you still will love this game.
This game is da bomb!I rented this game a while ago and I can’t stop thinking about it ever since. It has everything a game needs, and plus much, much more.Evolution – this sequel is an improvement over the first one, considering the success of the first game, this one is a definite hit. All of the good things were kept and added to in this sequel.Here are some of the aspects of the game that make it as great as it is: first off – Career mode, can be kind of challenging at times, but earns u money which opens up new tricks, skateboards, skate arenas(parks), etc.Another feature is the free skate – as always, great for practice and gettin to know the game better. (there are about 20-30 premade arenas accessible which is another great plus) The Create a skater feature is very simple, and is not the best feature of the game.The Park editor mode is great and is pretty easy to use once u learn the basics. With it, people can use their creativity to make the greatest and most fun skate park possible.Two-player mode can be the most enjoyable part of the game – battle it out with your friends in games like trick attack, horse, graffiti and tag. As a plus – the game has great music and even incudes a matt hoffman’s pro bmx demo with it.Overall – this game is really fun for all people who r into extreme sports or people who are just looking for a fun game to play – this is the one.

After playing the 1st Hawk for like 6 months I decided to buy Hawk 2 to see what all the fuss was about. First thing that I noticed when I started playing were that the graphics were smoother and better looking. The second thing I noticed was that I was really good a Hawk 2 because many of the controls are the same as the 1st 1. this is a good thing I guess. As for the levels, They are very well designed but school 2 doesn’t compare to the the first 1. It doesn’t have that 1 level that I wanna keep playing over and over. Tony Hawk 2 has many new tricks that can be done. Also, it now has a park editor w/ pre-made parks which is kinda cool. But I like to stick to the real levels. All in all this game is phat. Better than the 1st? yes but barely.Did someone say Tony Hawk 3???? November, 2001.
I LUV THIS GAME, simply put. from the first to the second game, so much has been improved. the levels are more complex, but more fun at the same time. the players have more tricks and better ways uv increasing their stats. the create a player and park modes are great for those uv us who must have custom creations. if ur at all interested in the tony hawk series, i suggest u simply skip the first one and buy tony hawk pro skater 2 first.
I’m not a skating fan but after I had played THPS2 i was addicted. On the first day i played it, I couldn’t do anything else. I stayed up all night non stop and eventually fell asleep at about 6am. Not only is it addictive but its easy to get a grip of. I admit at first all I did was button bash, but soon I figured out how to gain the most points. The career mode is great if your on your own and graffiti is a great game to play with a friend. The park editor as many options for you to create your dream park. So if you dont have Tony Hawkes Pro skater 2 i suggest ypu get it now.

the sequel to the once best selling skateboarding game of all time,tony hawk’s pro skater (this took its crown).wth about 13 skaters to chose from,it’s pretty cool.my favs bucky lasek.you can create your own park and character,free skate,play 2-player, have a single session,and play career mode.the career mode works differently from the 1st one though.you have to BUY your stats, moves,and boards with the money you earn completing tasks,but it’s stil pretty cool.the park creater is fun and easy to do,the same with making your character.i like to free skate the best,though.it’s fun because theres no time limit and you dont have to complete tasks,but the problem is you have to unlock the extra levels in career mode before you can play them in free skate.theres also spider-man and im not positive,but i think officer dicks in this one too.the cheat codes make it even cooler.2x moon gravity and unlimited balance imakes it awesome.it has a cool soundtrack with my 3 favs:papa roach, powerman 5000,and rage aganist the machine,and others like anthrax,naughty by nature,and more.heres the overall ratings:Soundtrack:5/5-awesomeSFX-4/5-goodControl:D-pad:3/5-fairAnalog-5/5-awesome (once you get used to it)————-fun ratings—————————Career mode-3/5Free skate-5/5Single session-4/5Park maker-5/5Skater maker (that sounds cool)-5/5Overall rating:10/5Should you buy this game-hell yes!!
I think this is a very enjoyable game for adults and children to play, but I was very disgusted in the choice of music that was picked for this game. I have younger children and this game is rated for ages 13 and up but I still think it is inappropriate for any ages to be listening to. There is one song in paticular that talks about killing ourselves and repeats the word kill over and over again. If I had known the music was going to have lyrics in it like this I never would have bought this game even though it is very fun to play. I don’t know why anyone would think that it was appropriate to put songs like this in games that children and teenagers especially would be playing.
