I Love to Play the ” Tiger Woods Pro Tour Games”, When I can Find them. But I am getting so very tired of getting Ripped off!My Order came Complete, & Without a Flaw on the outside of the Case, But opening it up & Guess what? This is a landmark video golf game that should appeal to every golf fanatic and novice. It offers every type of gameplay conceivable: stroke, alternate shot, match play, Stableford, skin game, skill shot competition, four ball, etc. You can play in "career mode", where you start as a rookie, compete in calendar events, improve your equipments, and improve to pro, champion, and master status. You can play in "season mode", where you create a new player (male or female) with the abilities of your choosing, and compete in an editable list of events. You can also, of course, just play a single match where you choose the course, the number of holes, and the opponent(s). You can also play some "side competitions" to earn some quick money. You can also hit the practice range, or take some golfing lessons as well.The game keeps good statistics of your player — number of holes played, driving distance and accuracy, number of chip-ins, aces, pars, birdies, and bogeys, money earned, all-around ranking, round-by-round scores of each event, etc. Statistics of virtual players are kept only when you choose them as your opponents before each round. I bought this game with high hopes that it would run well on my 2.4ghz 800fsb, 512pc2700 drr, and 9600pro card, but no. The game is plauged by frequent hangups even though I’ve intsalled all the latest drivers and patches. The graphics were nice in the space between the game running and freezing. Just wait for TW2004, maybe it will be able to run well on good computers.
I own the 1999 and 2001 games. The 2003 has great graphics, but I thought the others did, too. The narrators should not be taken seriously. They say you are in the trap and you may be in the rough and vise versa. The rough is extremely difficult to get our of and unless you have a fairly new mouse, the drives are difficult to put in the fairway. If you are not in the fairway, lookout. Some courses, Hawaii and Britain have roughs beyond belief. Your scores could be horrible. I found that putting is far superior on this game than any of the rest. You had better learn the courses and study the clubs used for each shot. They are all set for you but that doesn’t mean they are the right ones. More often than not, they are. All in all, this is the best Tiger Woods game I have every played in spite of what I have said. Be sure your computer is capable of handling the game or you might experience some freezing up.
I usually play this four or five times a week. Wish there were more golf courses to challenge me, but I always have fun with it. rh

I am not to good working the computer,I wanted to thank you so much for sending both tiger woods 2003 and 2004 so quick!! I knew both games because my very old system had them,boy what a difference a qud-core processor can make along with 4 gb of ram!! LOLThis was however one flaw in tiger woods 2004,the video which like 2003 showing the players before the game starts does not work,I get a black screen,and when you move up to the next level again black screen?? The game works great!! Just this problem I do not understand. 2003 runs perfect! 2004 does as well except no video? So apart from this again thanks so much! I truly did not think I could get tiger woods 2004 but thanks to you I did.Again my thanks!
I was never much of a golf fan myself,but i rented this game not really expecting too much and boy was i surprised.First off this game is very easy to learn in a matter of a couple hours and it always presents new and interesting challenges.I have bought several games here on retrolio.com and have never been as pleased with the replay factor of any of them quite like this one.I would recieve my games ordered from retrolio and play them for about an hour and always ended up putting TW2003 back in before the night was up.This game is WELL worth the money for the replay factor alone.I must say though the graphics are really not as good as i had hoped they would be and it does have a few glitches now and then but nothing that makes it any less fun or any less playable.The PC version of this game is not as fun but the graphics are way better.Overall i gave this game four stars just for the graphics alone cause everything else is pretty good,well with the exception of the annoying slow-motion heartbeat,but it’s a must have in my opinion.
