Word on the street is that Dennis Black is a small-time street racer recruited into a high stakes underground racing league that goes by the code name: Test Drive. A mysterious member of the circuit, Donald Clark, sees potential in Dennis and provides him with the cold cash and hot cars he will need to succeed. As Black races the fastest cars through exotic locations all over the world, he begins to realize the game may not be what it seems. The game offers more than 20 of the hottest licensed exotic sports cars and all-American muscle cars and four realistic and highly detailed real-world cities. Fully interactive environments include a competitive AI, unpredictable cross traffic, reactive pedestrians, gravity-defying jumps, smashable street-side objects, and relentless cops.

The best fun I’ve had in ages! The car handling is fantastic, not too sluggish like GT3 and Gotham, not too arcade like Ridge Racer, just perfect. The story is cheesy but who cares? The graphics are the best I’ve seen on a racing game EVER, there’s so much detail there, the cars could have been a little better but the scenery is great, not flat like GT3.Definitely a GT3 killer, this is the best racing game of the century to date.
I decided the game was pretty good and it came in great condition no problems.also,I would recommend others to uy from this shop.
The game was cool, but it was to easy. Had a good story and a surprising end.
Great game, good shipping time. Really happy
This game is awsome. It is a racing game so of course you have to start out with the slower cars wich can be frustraiting. But if you keep playing and "winning" it will only get better. So if you like racing games I would buy it.But it’s not for GT3 fans it’s a arcade game not simulation if you like playing with suspension and all that don’t waste your time.If your like me and want to skip the BS and start racing this ones for you.Two thumbs up for TestDrive
Description: you race in 4 cities (see item description), each city has 10 tracks (40 tracks total). you race against 5 other people. you have to finish in the top 3 in each track. the exception is 3 drag races , in which you must finish 1st. after all 4 cities are complete, you race in a “final” tournament against just one person. the “final” tournament has 5 tracks (45 total for the whole game).GAMEPLAY: the graphics are very good and realistic. you drive at night, day, and dusk. The sound track consisting of dmx etc.. is very good while you drive (not cheesy game music). the tracks are well designed and are fun to drive.DRAWBACKS: 1)the driving challenge is poor and does not require any technical skill. All you have to do to win each race is to avoid hitting the other cars in traffic – when you hit another car, it completely spins you around and you go from 1st to last place. 2) you win money depending on which place you finish (1st, 2nd, 3rd), but There Is Nothing To Buy with the money you earn – its completely useless cash. Therefore, it doesnt matter what place you finish. 3) you cant tune the cars at all. their performace characteristics are permanent throughout the game. 4) the story line is poor and is never developed. in between each race you “chat” with the other drivers, but all they do is “tease” each other. no real communication of substance takes place – you should just skip over the conversation parts. 5) the cars sound the same with a few exceptions.PROS: 1).
this game was worth every penny i mean with the classic musle cars to todays most avanced car this is a great game and to keep it short and sweat i would bet my bottom dollar that this is one of the best games you will ever play
it sure as hell DOESNT feel as ur really in the car. the cars accelerate too fast and turn too easily – might be a good thing for some but if u want a realistic racing game, get gt3. i personally like both realistic and unrealistic racing games. its a fun game and it looks quite nice.
Feels as if your in the car itself! Highly recommend to any great gamer.
While the graphic and sound for test drive are stimulating at first, the end result of playing this game for several hours is boredom and frustration. The physics for car inertial forces, interactivity with other drivers, and lack of creativity overall combined with extremely long load times made playing it a waste of my time and certainly my money. If one was to spend endless hours playing the thing Im sure you can get pretty good at it, regardless of the …control. I have played hundreds of games and in the old days of NES you just accepted … control and liked it if the game had good graphics. Today we should be able to expect both. And whats up with the load times, a little more effort or possibly talent could have easily cut these in half–or does Rockstar games have a corner on the creativity and talent. Maybe so.Im going to sell it and buy something else.
