First, let me start with, I am a late bloomer when it comes to games. I didn’t start ANY video games until I was in my mid-30s…(too busy being a mom) and now, in my late 40s I find that RPGs will never get boring. (either will playing any game that gives me unlimited granades or the power to pick up a dead body and chuck it at a zombie to kill it… Gotta love “Black” and “Bioshock” but I digress…)I have a DS and of course, this game. Most of the time with RPGs, I have to find a walkthrough because when I get stuck, I tend to say “F-it”, and put it down. This game really is amazing in that I haven’t had to consult a walkthrough once. Now, don’t get me wrong… I am a die-hard Final Fantasy fanatic, but Square Enix can learn a thing or two from this game. Like… when life took control and I had to set the game down for a month. I thought “I’m going to have to start over. I can’t remember where I was at.” Nope! Didn’t have to! I just looked to see what quest I was on, and it all came back to me! I like how I can start to go the wrong way and the main character, or maybe Liu will pop up and say, “Hey, don’t we have to go over here?”What REALLY hooked me was the story…. “The Order of the One True Way” is an idea that is actually pretty profound, and rather disturbing. If kids play this and actually give this some thought, who knows… maybe we will start having intelligent kids around again. Any game that supports freedom, and free thinking is GREAT in my book!I’m not done w.
Great game, nice combats and story.
Game is fun enough, love the new artstyle.Story line totally departs from previous entries & is just fine.
Interesting game based on the Suikoden series. Pretty fun battles and cool story.
Well if your a Suikoden fan from the late 90’s you will find room in your heart for this game….its not as good as Suikoden 1 or 2 but a decently good jrpg. The story unfolds like a nice book, the characters are kind of forgettable besides the main plot guys….i call it Suikoden lite but worth playing for jrpg fans
Rare game good price fast delivery!
