Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow is a 2004 stealth video game develop and publish by Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Milan. It is the second game in the Splinter Cell series endorse by writer Tom Clancy. The game follows the covert activities of Sam Fisher. An agent working for a black-ops branch of the National Security Agency (NSA) called “Third Echelon”. Michael Ironside returns to voice Sam Fisher, while Dennis Haysbert voices the character Irving Lambert. Fisher’s boss, making this the only time he is not voice by Don Jordan. Lalo Schifrin provides the theme music for the game.
However, Pandora Tomorrow receive very positive reviews on release, with critics calling it a strong follow-up and giving praise to its multiplayer component. Which would become a staple of the series. Also a side-scrolling adaptation for Game Boy Advance and mobile phones was release to mix reception. And a remaster high definition version was release on PlayStation 3 in September 2011. And an Xbox version was made available for Xbox One via backward compatibility in June 2019.
Initially, CD copies of the game sold in Australia were not ship with activation keys.
Gameplay
However, the gameplay of Pandora Tomorrow is largely unchange from the original Splinter Cell. The game features some moderate graphical improvements, as well as minor gameplay changes such as the fact that health kits are no longer an inventory item. And the addition of a laser sight to Sam’s pistol that allows the player to know exactly where the rounds will strike, even when moving around.
Also, Sam can now open doors while carrying a body, shoot while hanging upside down. And a “SWAT turn” past doorways un-notice (move from one side of the door to other while cover), and perform a half split jump. Moreover, the SWAT turn was remove and the pistol laser was replace with an OCP (Optically Channeled Potentiator) which can temporarily disable electronic devices in Chaos Theory, the next entry in the series.

I have found out that the best systems to get this game on are gamecube and xbox. They will have the same graphics. Ps2 is not as good good on this game as the other consoles. But xbox and Ps2 will have online action plus original multiplayer when you play on the same console. Gamecube won’t have online but will have multiplayer. But… Gamecube will have extra weopons and a longer single player mode. Ubisoft said each console with have something special on this game. Gamecube has better single player mode and ps2 and xbox have online. I stronly recomend buying this game for gamecube. I own an xbox and a gamecube so I hope I helped your desision on which console to get it on. So…. GET IT ON GAMECUBE!! ITS THE BEST BEST GAME TO HALO!!
Very satisfied
One thing: I have never played the prequel to this game and do not intend to.I loved this game and I thought the graphics were great. The graphics were much more solid than Prince of Persia, which is a good fact since this game was very serious and present.I didn’t actually buy this game but I rented it and intend to buy it soon. Even though I only played it for a week I understood the plot, gameplay, and idea of the game pretty well. I love how this game was realistic so that on some levels you couldn’t kill opponents.I also loved the dark/light aspect of it. If you were in light you’d probably be seen and if you were in dark you probably wouldn’t. It’s so realistic you have to actually hide the bodies of unconsious people and they don’t just “dissapate” like in other gamesI’m Colton and I loved this game
I love playing this game. Granted, it’s sometimes tedious, and is a nightmare for trial and error haters. I however, find this game challenging, fun, and really intense. It is not for small kids, because of the violence, intensity, and occasional language, but I as a Christian am not way too upset with the content in this game. (Meaning it’s not over the top.)The graphics are also brilliantly displayed, and make the gaming experience feel real. Overall, this game rates extremely high in my book, and I hope you all get the pleasure of enjoying it.
This is, without a doubt, the greatest game ever made. I recently bought Pandora Tomorrow and it’s shaping up to be even better. Anyone who would give this game less than 5 stars more than likely doesn’t own it, or hasn’t beaten it. The ending video is awesome, and the overall story is the best i have ever seen. If you disagree with my review, YOUR WRONG. END
I picked this game up at Blockbuster without knowing anything about the whole stealth/tactical genre. Needless to say I had a GIANT learning curve to overcome. I think I spent almost 2 hours total trying to get past the train section of Saulnier. But…Once I got the hang of the game and all the different variables pertaining to this style of gameplay became clear to me, this game was really cool and fun to play. Sometimes the AI is goofy and someone will spot you for shooting a lamp out near them, and then in the next section it won’t get you spotted, go fig. If you can get past glitches like that and aren’t a hard core tactical shooter fan, this game is worth your time. The replay value on it is really good – I’ve already beaten the game and now I’m trying to go through without tripping any alarms, after that I intend to take on the hard difficulty setting. Now for the practicals…The graphics are above average in gameplay and very good in the cutscenes, the music during gameplay is quiet, but filled with enough ambient noises to keep you guessing at least for the first run through. Ok, the voice overs suck, in particular the terrorists, they sound just like American game programmers – no accents whatsoever, lame, lame, lame. Lambert is an idiot, wait till you get to the last level to hear him tell you “The Elevator Stopped.” Thanks Captain Obvious, I couldn’t have figured that out on my own.Overall, this is a fun game and worth the $7-15 you might drop on it
Cool and epic sequel to the original SC. Although most of the mechanics are the same to me, it’s still fun to play as Sam on a deadly spy mission that requires you to traverse the globe. A great game for splinter cell and stealth fans.
