This is one of Sega’s best games. I like to play with both of the good and bad sides. I can beat the ultamate life form, but I haven’t gotten around to it. I like how they added masks for the chao, hero and dark gardens, kindergarten, and some different abilitys when you are in the gartens (kicking, slapping, petting, whistling, petting, and flying forever.) I only wish that there was an adventure field like in Sonic Adventure 1.

Sega have managed to come up with the goods once again on Sonic Adventure 2. The graphics are far superior to the original, the levels are better and there is more of a plot to the game. There is the introduction of new characters as well which will make the game more appealing. This is a must have game as i love d the first and this is even better, and has held my attention for a long time now. Go Sonic!! keep that Sega flag flying

Sonic adventure 2 is a great sequel to Sonic Adventure but lets get down to it and review this gameStory: Following from where Sonic Adventure left off, Sonic defeats Perfect Chaos and saves Earth. After discovering the existence of a secret weapon mentioned in the diary of his grandfather, Gerald Robotnik, Dr. Eggman infiltrates a high-security G.U.N. facility in search of it. This “weapon,” a black hedgehog named Shadow who claims that he is the “Ultimate Life Form,” offers to help Eggman take over the world, telling the scientist to rendezvous with him at the abandoned Space Colony ARK with more Chaos Emeralds. Shadow proceeds in stealing one of the Emeralds. During the event, Shadow has a flashback to the final moments of a young girl named “Maria,” begging him to complete an unspecified task–which he interprets as a request for revenge. Because Shadow makes a hasty retreat and no one is able to get a good look at him, G.U.N. officials mistake Shadow for Sonic. After escaping from the military, Sonic is arrested again shortly after a confrontation with Shadow, who demonstrates to Sonic the Chaos Control technique.Meanwhile, Knuckles confronts both Rouge the Bat and Eggman, who each attempt to steal the Master Emerald. Knuckles shatters the Master Emerald to prevent this, and proceeds to search for the scattered shards and restore the Emerald. While Rouge intends to collect the shards for personal benefit, she must also accomplish a mission for the government to spy on Eggman. This mission causes her to infiltrate Dr. Eggman’s base, which also leads her to the ARK, where Shadow relays to Eggman his plan to use the Chaos Emeralds to charge a “super weapon” on the ARK called the Eclipse Cannon to take over the world. Eggman then broadcasts his threats across the planet and demonstrates the cannon’s level of power by destroying half of the moon. Sonic and company use the final Emerald within their possession to track down the other six, with Knuckles coming along as well. Along the ride into space, Knuckles’ Master Emerald shards are spilled, and he leaves the group to collect them, encountering Rouge again. During the fight, Knuckles saves Rouge from certain death, and Rouge surrenders her collected shards, finally allowing Knuckles to restore the Master Emerald.On board the ARK, Tails reveals that he has created a counterfeit Chaos Emerald designed to reverse the effects of the real Emeralds and destroy the Eclipse Cannon. Sonic goes to place the fake Emerald into the Cannon when Eggman announces he has captured Tails and Amy. Sonic tries to give Eggman the fake Emerald, but at the last second Eggman traps and jettisons Sonic in an escape pod rigged with explosives. Using the fake Emerald, Sonic manages to perform Chaos Control and escape before it explodes, but Tails, thinking Sonic is dead, fights Eggman again. Shadow is sent to intercept Sonic before he destroys the Eclipse Cannon, but Sonic succeeds.Once Eggman collects all seven Chaos Emeralds and attempts to fire the Eclipse Cannon at full power, a failsafe activates, and a recorded message is broadcast by the late Gerald Robotnik. It explains that the ARK will collide with and destroy Earth, as revenge against humanity for condemning him and his research, as well as killing his granddaughter Maria and numerous colleagues on board the ARK. Everyone agrees to work together to neutralize the Chaos Emeralds with the Master Emerald and stop the collision. Shadow initially does not participate, due to his apathy for humankind; however, Amy’s pleading reminds him of Maria’s true request to serve as a benefit for society. He catches up with Sonic and Knuckles after they make their way to the core.After disabling the various security features guarding the Cannon’s core, Sonic and Knuckles encounter the Biolizard, a prototype of the Ultimate Life Form, and Shadow’s “biological” brother, who had been awoken from stasis to ensure that the Emeralds would not be tampered with. Shadow defeats the Biolizard, allowing Knuckles to deactivate the Chaos Emeralds using his repaired Master Emerald. However, the injured Biolizard uses Chaos Control to fuse with the Eclipse Cannon, becoming the Finalhazard and continuing the ARK’s collision course by physically dragging it along. Using the power of the Chaos Emeralds, Sonic and Shadow transform into Super Sonic and Super Shadow and defeat the Biolizard while he is fused to the ARK. They then use Chaos Control to teleport the ARK back into a stable orbit around Earth. The process, however, depletes Shadow’s energy, and is rendered unable to remain in orbit. He plummets to Earth, and to his apparent death, content that he has fulfilled his promise to Maria. This game has everything the original sonic adventure had and then some. The game has some of the best and fastest graphics on the dreamcast. The games feel is incridible speed is the name of the game and with six playable characters and two different story lines ( one for good and one for evil) the game has lots of replay value. SA2 even has something the original doesn’t a multiplayer mode. While its only for 2 players its still a lot of fun. This is a shining peice of work in the sad sad sad last days of dreamcast. Is this its dying breathe, well… not exactly but it’s still a whole lot of fun for a great price. If you at all liked the original pick this one up now!!!!!! you won’t regret it

This has to be the funnest Sonic game I have ever played. Everything from the story to the game play to even Chao World was perfect, and despite it being one of the last games during Dreamcast’s short lifespan, I would recommend it to any fan. The backgrounds were very well designed, and it definitely it a game you could play for ages. I’ve spent hours taking care of my chao. Even if you don’t have a Dreamcast, I suggest you get the Gamecube version.The store we bought it from, atyourservice05, was correct in it’s description, down to the very last detail. Not only that, It took less than two days two reach from OH to NJ! It’s the perfect addition for any Sonic collector!

Amazing. Is the only word I can say. This game is…. amazing.Why? I’m very glad you asked.Story mode. Remember Sonic Adventure’s cutscenes… er… weren’t exactly very good? SA2’s _are_ good. Very good. Tails’ voice actor is still a bit wooden, but the others have definitely been taking lessons, especially Amy’s actor. The plot in SA2, for the first time since Sonic & Knuckles, goes beyond the traditional “Sonic good. Robotnik bad. Sonic attack Robotnik”-type. Indeed, you can play as the Hero or the Dark side. Bost must be finished before you can unlock the game’s true ending. Both stories rock. Basically, it runs that Robotnik, or Eggman (as he has always been called in Japan, and has only recently been called elsewhere) has uncovered the “ultimate life form”, a thing called Shadow. While Eggman and Shadow hatch world domination plots, a bat called Rouge, world-famed treasure hunter, takes a shine to the Master Emerald which Knuckles has spent a lifetime guarding. When Rouge, Eggman and Shadow make a deal, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles must get on the case… sounds fairly straightforward so far. However, there are actual plot twists worth having in this game! My jaw dropped just watching cutscenes on several occasions… I won’t spoil it, but, just be prepared… Of course, cutscenes are all well and good, but not without gameplay to go with it. SA2 has the walk to go with the talk here. Sonic and Shadow zip around at high-speed, as ever. City Escape in particular could almost be directly lifted from Crazy Taxi, but it soon gets much more serious than that. Try trivialising Final Rush. Tails and Eggman go for a stroll in their death-dealing mechs. My highlight is Eternal Engine where you actually have to use your discretion in what you shoot. Knux and Rouge make you actually use your brain for once as you follow a trail of clues to the Emeralds. Rouge’s Mad Space level literally span me out in particular. The only problem, really, in the gameplay is that camera angles can sometimes be a problem. It’s not very common unless you start exploring off the beaten track, but it can get annoying sometimes.Sound is perfect all the way through, and while the music isn’t always what I’d listen to on the radio, it all fits….

Well i own a phansty star online game which i borught about two weeks ago and the sonic adventure 2 demo was in the case i played the game and let me just say that the game was something of the future. It had good graphics good gameplay even though you could not under stand a word that they say because it in jap. but the have the text screen to follow along.(I hope in the full version of the game that the words would be in english.)In the first stage you start off by sliding down on a city street with a metal board(which is very cool). The demo just is the future.But right now iam kind of upset because the release date has been change so many times. The first time it was sopposed to hit the stores on march 16 2001,then may 1-2,2001 now iam reading june 21-22-2001 come on i hope that sonic team can read this and make up their minds because people are waiting and waiting and then when it comes out no one is going to want to by it. But i give this game a 5 tumbs up and two toes. thats all for now happy gameing
