So totally fun Concept of this game Follow through so smoothly the controls smoothly graphics excellent Plot line Superb completely underrated games.
Like it because of the intensity
This was the first game that I played in the wii console… and now when I’ve played others games, i can say that is very good… the game is no boring. You can ply the normal mode for trainig… and the masacre mode for real play…
First thing first – I’m not buying this! Why?… I have the xbox version and have played it to death! But that’s why I will recommend this to Wii owners. This was an extremely(!)underrated shooter(don’t believe me? – read the reviews!) that came out very late into the lifespan of the xbox/ps2… and totally went under the radar as a result. As the Wii is painfully lacking in high-quality FPS-type games, and so few people played this, I’m happy to see this ported to the Wii. Odds are, you(like me) are unfamiliar with the British comic(2000 AD – whose writers included Dave Gibbons, for us WATCHMEN fans) that this is based on. No problem… I won’t bother to explain the straightforward story, what matters is how solid the gameplay is. Not only is it fun, but what people seem to agree on is that you play a level, and then want to play it again, and attempt another strategy. Another interesting touch is that as you come across killed friends, you retrieve “chips” from their bio-engineered bodies that contain their personalities – which can be incorporated into your gun, helmet, etc. They will speak to you, and assist you in tasks. My favorite feature is the ability to place your gun as an “intelligent” turret in a strategic position as a back up while you stand back as need be. No, this game isn’t particularly original or unique – just solid. Yes, this game is a bit short – but unlike many others, you will actually want to play through more than once, and have fun trying different.
Great fun, and a new challenge on the Wii U!
First off, this is a great game that works well with the Wii. The controls are very simple to learn, and the story is great too. I bought mine used at GameStop and it didn’t have the instruction booklet but I still learned the controls easily. It even gives you hints during the first few missions to help you learn them. The missions are awesome, as are the environments they take place in. The are a number of different weapons to use and upgrade and they each have their own unique specialness. The graphics are great for a Wii game, and if you like third person shooters, then I have to put this right up there next to Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition.I think the only issue I have with this game, is that you cannot save until the mission is over. Some of the missions wound up taking me about an hour to complete, so I would have to wait until then to stop playing and save. Sometimes I’m not in the mood to play for an hour and just want to get a quick 30 minutes in. I do take my time and try to play as safe as possible and I also try to collect everything. It does have checkpoints every so often, so if you die, you don’t have to reply alot – which is nice. But with that said, the game moves along well and is fun to play.If you like RE4, then I would definitely check this out. It’s fun, cheap, and can be challenging at times – even on easy. I have played all COD games, Star Wars The Force Unleashed, Cursed Mountain, Dead Space Extraction, Dead Rising Shop Till You Drop, GoldenEye, Quantu.
