I find Resistance 2, the sequel to the PS3 launch title “Resistance: Fall of Man”, a strange duck indeed. It’s a game where the faults of the game are easily identifiable (to me anyway), and I can clearly see some areas that needed a lot more polish or tweaking yet I keep coming back to it, enjoying the ride yet not caring for the bumps. Insomniac, the developer behind the stellar Ratchet and Clank series, in a weird way makes a solid FPS but without the core elements that most FPS games need but they do succeed on quite a number of fronts too so Resistance 2 is a game that annoys as much as it thrills.Story: Taking place immediately after the events of the first game, Lieutenant Nathan Hale is picked up and introduced to soldiers called “Sentinels”, other soldiers who have been infected with the Chimeran virus and given special abilities which have to be kept in chick with medical inhibitors. They make it back to America where the Chimeran race has practically overrun everything and made it their home and it’s up to Nathan Hale to try to bring them down, that is if he doesn’t turn into one of them first.Graphics: I mention sometimes in reviews of games where the graphics can be put into 2 categories: the look of the game and the performance of the game. The former is Resistance 2’s selling point, particularly in terms of scale. Seeing massive things on screen, tilting your character’s head up as you see just how massive something is and you’re like “wow”. The game looks quit.

I bought this game to play with my boyfriend because Resident Evil 5 was soo fun to play together. However this game was not as exciting/thrilling as RE5 but it is still a good game. The price was reasonable and I’m happy.
This game improved on every single aspect of the first exept story, and im miss the Grey Jacks from the first game :'(Graphics: 10/10 This game looks great.Sound: 10/10, I forgot to mention sound on my review of the first game, but that also gets a 10/10Controls: 10/10, Even tighter and more responsive than the first!Story: 7/10, The story is not bad, but not good either its in the “Grey Area” Oh I made a Resistance related pun.Enjoyment: 10/10, I liked the game better than the first, But the story left something to be desired.I loved all the new Chimera, especially the Grims, reminded me of 28 days later.I miss the Grey Jacks, I’ll get over it, probably because of the Grims.There are 2 zombie-like Chimera classes for Resistance.Menial= Slow classic zombie. (Only in the first game)Grim= Fast 28 Days later zombies, very tense battles, you easily get killed if you do not have the right weapon.Get this game, you will not be dissapinted!

Multiplayer- Disappointing, it is very generic flip this switch kill these monsters etc…Campaign- The campaign mode is very unique and fun. Some of the levels are very dark and kinda creepy like you know… oh there is a road block lets take a shortcut through this partially flooded dim lit basement =)Overall – 4/5 because of the underwhelming multiplayer. It still has a very fun campaign mode and will make you jump every so often. I was skeptical of getting this game because I am more of a fan of regular guns not laser weaponry but somehow this game pulled it off well for me especially with the epic magnum that shoots remotely detonated bullets xD.Should I Get this? Yes!
This game is a must-have for action-fan PS3 owners, it has eye-popping graphics, fantastic gameplay, creative and gigantic level design, and very smooth and intuitive controls. 2-player co-op is good too. 4 of 5 stars, rent it first just to be sure it is your style of game.
When I say bigger, better and superior, I do not mean to Fall of Man, but any game ever created before for any console. Epic is too sort to describe it since it is composed by just 4 words.Reference I`ve played everything from Halo to GoW series, I mean every cool game since I am a rich man and nothing comes near.
