This game works on the original Game Boy, Pocket, Color, Game Boy Advance, and Advance SP systems. It does not work with the Micro or any kind of Nintendo DS.

The people who refurbished the cartridge did not delete the previous users profile so when I first loaded it, it had their chosen player name, and showed all 151 in the pokedex (congrats btw) but I started my own profile, saved, turned off the gameboy, back on, loaded, all seamlessly. Just like a brand new cart. Only reason I’m not doing 5 star is of course they did not erase previous owners profile, and there are some EXTREMELY minor scratches in the sticker. Not enough to really notice, unless you are into extreme detail and are looking for something that is in mint condition, N.I.B. status

great except one thing. it’s literally pokémon red in a pokémon blue case. i thought something was weird when i was getting a bunch of pokémon red exclusives, then i realized i was getting no blue version exclusives. wth
