My son’s loves this game!!!
Je suis satisfais du service et l’article est conforme à la description ! merci !
The first “No More Heroes” was a good game with glaring issues. It’s fair to say that those issues kept most gamers from getting much past the title screen. However, I actually found that game enjoyable. I’m not sure if it was the epic boss battles, the wackadoo story, or the pure Japanese-i-ness clearly present. Either way, it wasn’t the gimmicky controls or the “shiny new tech” feel that has sold many a Wii. However, with all of my love for that game, even I could notice the awkward controls. I noticed the pulp moments of the story. I hated the motorcycle controls, and I did get the joke about stupid open-world games (though I like open-world games). I even found Suda51’s little joke about grinding out collectibles annoying, but I still liked the game. I feel it important to mention all of this so you understand where I’m coming from. This way, you can better judge if the game is for you or not.”No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle” is an excellent game. It takes a vast majority of the good parts of the first game and brings them back, improving on more than a few. The crummy parts of the first are mostly dropped. Graphics are marginally upgraded, but graphics have never been solely indicative of a games overall enjoyability. The controls are tight, the battles are satisfying, and the story is wonderfully crazy. If that isn’t enough for you, consider that the mini-games have been upgrading by way of downgrading. All but one mini-game has been replaced with d.
So this isn’t a bad game, but it is not as good as the first. It’s still just as fun but none of the characters in the game have any real personality. In the first you got to see, learn, and understand who a character is, in this game you get a “Let’s fight” and that’s it. This game of being goofy but grounded in it’s own reality threw it out the window and is basically an anime trying to be as wacky as possible. The final kill are now random Wiimote shaking which makes it less satisfying to see your reward after beating a boss. They killed the overworld so now it’s just a menu, so that’s something everyone seems to like. You can change weapons mid battle which is rather nice. Jobs are basically pointless now unless you want to buy clothes or try them out. I find the Gym a bit difficult, so upgrading your stats is either not worth it, or will be an annoying grindfest. It’s still fun, they just removed a lot from the first game and took the joking to the extreme.
I’ve been pretty skeptical of Wii and the short, uneventful games I’ve been running across since I purchased the system. No More Heroes 2 is AMAZING to say the least. I am a 26 year old, mother of 1 and I catch myself constantly ready to entertain my child while I jump and make noises like a big kid during battles. The short, arcade like mini games are not that easy but keeps you busy when your not on big battle. A MUST HAVE for your Wii collection!!!

Words can’t describe the joy I had when playing this game. When I am done playing, I may find it to be the best game on the Wii. The boss fights are over the top and zany. The graphics are great. The gameplay had more depth than the first. The writing is sharp. The story is dark. Did I also mention that I am only one hour into the game. Don’t contemplate if you should get No Mores Heroes 2. It should be a matter of when in the next few weeks I should get it.
The graphics are choppy the character detection is lacking and the last boss is lame but this game was AWESOME! Every last second is stylized fun awesomeness. If you own a Wii you must buy this game. It was so much more then a stylish hack and slash. It was an homage to all things anime and 8 bit with sick presentation all it’s own you will never see another game like this. It has no multiplayer but that’s fine cause once you beat single player you will be itching to play it again ESPECIALLY for the astounding boss fights. Each boss deserves it’s own game. Actually a boss from the first game (shinobu) is payable for a few levels of her own.
Good game, fast shipping highly recommended, for a Wii game I think its a excellent videgame, if you have a Wii console you MUST buy it!
No more heroes 2 was an improvement on the first game in almost every way imaginable. The mini games, characters, story, even the boss battles are more fun! The only complaint I have on this game is that it was not given the HD treatment the first game was given. Thats a huge bummer to the fans and I can only hope they one day reconsider or maybe even make a third installment?
