Great product
had a bit of shenanigans with the order, but the actual product was exactly as advertised
The NES has worked perfectly so far. Zero complaints from me!
At first I was scared this would not work because it seemed cheaper than the others posted. However, when playing, the graphics, system, and cables were all there and the system works just fine. Turns on and off with no problem and works just as it did in the 90’s. Very happy with this purchase.
The Nintendo Entertainment System brought the world out of the gaming crash of 1983 and is considered by many older game players to be the best home console of all time. I’m of the mind that this is a console that nobody calling themselves a ‘gamer’ should be without. This is the launch-pad where Mario, Samus, Link and, many other great characters were introduced to the world. It may look a little out of date but it takes up less space than the Xbox360 and, Playstation 3. The controller is also greatly simplified compared to today’s standards, utilizing a single command cross (or control pad), 2 action buttons (‘a’ and ‘b’) and, a start-and-select button. Despite the simplicity of the control scheme for most games, Nintendo games are thought to be the most challenging to play. Games such as Ninja Gaiden, Zelda 2 and, Punch-Out for example have beaten many hardened gamers since their release.Graphically, the Nintendo has not aged well at all. The number of available colors and, number of colors that can be displayed translate into games that look blocky with simple backgrounds. Use of one’s imagination will greatly help of course and the Nintendo is more robust than older consoles like the Atari 2600 or, the Atari 7800. The Nintendo is unable to utilize stereo sound as well and while the sound quality can be poor at times there are many iconic sounds and, tunes that made their debut on the Nintendo console. Be warned when purchasing a Nintendo Entertainment System as they are.
Added a little surprise!!!! Thanks!
I recently went into the attic and found my old 20+ yr old NES Console inside a plastic grocery bag. My NESbrought back so many fond memories. Jump back in time to the middle of 1985. My Parents offered to buy myyounger brother and I an NES from Target. We politely declined their offer, however I would regret not wantingthem to purchase it for the 2 of us. At the time I was attending GWC in H.B. CA. There was a store right next toGWC. That store was Home Express, they sold home furnishings and of course NES and Genesis consoles aswell as numerous games and acessories. One day after all my classes ended, my friend and I went to the HE storeand found the Video Game section. The sales person in charge of the video game section let my friend and Iplay some NES games on a TV screen that was mounted on the wall. The Tv"s were mounted so high that afterawhile your neck would get sore. Well, I bought the NES and had it ever since. After all that time has passed, I’ve experieced no problems with my NES. There are people who had problemswith their NES consoles like games not loading, flashing red light, etc. I believe some of these problems were due toabuse and poor handling of their console. People, you have to clean your console contacts and game contacts aswell as the outside. I’ve never spilled any liquid on it, dropped it, hit it, or anything. If you treat your console right,it’ll last a lifetime. The NES controllers were pretty good for most games, although I recently bought a.
Works great love it
Very satisfied
