I bought two of these, (for a 9 & 10 year old). Unfortunately, one of them had issues where the screen stalled & stopped playing. I sent it back & got an immediate replacement. It has worked great with no issues. So far, almost a month of playing these daily & we are still enjoying them. Highly recommend.
My daughter got it for her birthday. Her cousin had a similar device, but always wanted one. Now she has her own to enjoy. She loves it.
The game is great to give as a Christmas gift to a teenager or adult. It will provide many hours of entertainment while traveling or just during idle time.
Nice product for the price. Bought for my 8 year old he really enjoyes it. Only complaint is the headohone jack is really small and regular headphones would not fit. Also there is a shooting game on there.
Very nice, compact and portable video system. It feels somewhat lower quality construction, but doesn’t strike me as it will break anytime soon. Games seem great for kids…. As basketball is just shooting, etc. My only gripe is the way the games and menu is laid out. There are like 10 games on the main screen, and then u go into a minigames menu to view lists of more games. Would have made more sense and easier for a kid to navigate if all the games were laid out together.
Bought this for my 7 year old grandson who wants to watch Youtube videos, not okay with us. He had so much fun he didn’t ask to watch TV, and wanted to take it home. Sorry buddy, this is for when you visit Grammy’s house. He commented on how fun it was playing basketball.
The game was great for travel times when it seems like the movie “ARE WE THERE YET “? So it’s really great when you need a calm not so invasive travel … I recommend it for anyone who doesn’t want to spend a huge amount of money on a gaming device , it’s absolutely great glad we got it .
I bought this as I grew up using handheld video games. I wanted my kids to get an experience of it though we have PlayStation at home. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars the battery doesn’t hold for long.

This is a good alternative to a smartphone for my kids to play handheld games. There are 15 features games here plus 85 mini games, for a total of 100 games as described. A User Manual is also included along with 1 USB cable and 1 Rechargeable Lithium Battery. The good thing also that it came ready for my kids to play with it without being recharged first. However, not all the buttons have clear marks on them. Unless I read the User Manual, it will be difficult for my kids to identify which button A, X, B, or Y is other than the Direction Keys buttons, Reset, Select or Start button. Also, I see some inconsistencies between the retrolio product page for this product and what the User Manual says in regards to number of days for full refund or free replacement warranty. On the retrolio product page it says as follows, “We can offer you full refund or free replacement within 60 days, whichever is at your most convenienceâ€. The User Manual says like this, “We can offer you full refund or free replacement within 30 days, whichever is at your most convenienceâ€.I wish the manufacturer made the buttons with clear markings on them so it would be easier for the users like me to identify without looking at the User Manual too much. Also, the manufacturer and shop should state their number of days warranty consistently between the retrolio product page and the User Manual, which I hope I don’t need to claim it.
