If you like 1980’s classic arcade games, then owning this collection is a must. Takes me back to the day. Great price and all games are upgraded to HD.
brings back old memories of the games that I played as a kid at the arcades
I’ll leave a review after I play them.
friggin awsom games. arrived fast
A must have and brings back arcade memories.
Even though some of these games are not of iterest. the price was well worth it for the amount of quaters I would have used in an arcade
great games, great deal
Good product! Brings back the memories!
stuff i grew up on so i had to have it!! very good collection to keep forever and ever and ever
For those of you who’ve bought the PS2 versions here are some thoughts:The menu to select the game is SO much better. It’s no longer that idiotic 3D, Egyptian hieroglyphics nonsense that they used to do on the old games. They’ve done a nice job. You see the arcade cabinet with a proper menu to the side. You select. Done. The games look fine to me. I haven’t played Smash TV to see if there’s still the slowdown that the PS2 experienced when too many objects get on the screen but, otherwise, they’ve done a good job with the controls (even odd things like Marble Madness control well). There is a slight weirdness: The music on some of the games is off just a bit. I’ve noticed it on two of the games and wonder if it’s on more. Root Beer Tapper is one. When the can-can girls come out the can-can song isn’t right. It’s slightly off and sort of weird.Selecting a 2-player game is no longer a mystery. In the PS2 version I always had to figure it out and sometimes I could get it and sometimes I couldn’t. In this version you press the Option button to drop coins and the start button on the 2nd control is: start 2 player. Nice and simple.I recommend it because of: the menu works, 2-player start now makes sense, all of the games are on the same disc (as opposed to 3 separate collections – I don’t know if anything is missing from this from the other three sets but it’s going to be minor if it is), and if you have a PS3 that doesn’t have PS2 backwards compatibility then this is a natural for yo.
