Works great and very clean with very little scuff marks. Came with the case and manual. Also, came one day early.
I never played it.I played Metal Gear: Solid on the original PS1, which is probably the greatest video game ever made. I long since passed that game along to my now 12 year old son, who now is a serious gamer. He asked me to get him a copy to round out his Metal Gear collection.

I have always been a Die-Hard MGS fan so I had to buy this game. It was very appealing at first beacuse the missions deliver a proffesional touch to your/snakes abilities. The proves to be challenging and requires a quick tactical sort of brain.The game needs to be played bye someone who can devote time to play it also, as it gets very frustrating at certain times. I found my self beating the controller on the floor at times do to having to try over and over and over again to beat a level that is extremely intimadating.This game would have made a better pre-realease game because it prepares you for the most grueling parts of MGS. So if your a new comer to the MGS series get this game first its ideal for training you for the real game.
This was one of my favorite games in my childhood. After it was damaged beyond play-ability over time, I felt destroyed for years. Recently I ordered a new one and was able to experience (for the first time) removing the cellophane and smelling the trapped ink scent of the printed manual. It was nostalgic, and now that I have the wisdom to take better care of my belongings; I am sure to enjoy this for decades to come.
got the old school metal gear soild vr missions for my ps3 and starting playing it and oh man i started remember my childhood playing it on my brothers ps1 back in 1999-2000 and still play it today 2014..
Had this one when i was a kid back in 1999 and i sold it , and now being a MGS collector i had to buy it again.Came as described , brand new factory sealed.This game was released after the PS1 hit Metal Gear Solid (The one that started all) it contains over 300 missions of VR training from sneaking to weapons to variety & even puzzle missions.Fun to play and you can spend alot of time mastering to get the gold.By the time of writing this, it has already been released on PSN as a digital download but if you are a Metal Gear collector ; it’s always good to have the hard copy
This game doesn’t have a story… But that is actually a good thing! VR Missions is great for those of us who have to wedge game playing between an ever-changing schedule. Most levels take anywhere from 30 seconds to five mintues… and you can exit anytime and save your game. So, if you have to get up and run… you really haven’t lost anything if you take ten seconds to exit and save.It has all the classic moves from MGS, and some fun levels like "Mystery" (arrest the right murder suspect), Puzzle (think enemy-dominos) and round after round of weapon-based combat (so you don’t ALWAYS have to sneak around).I’d say pick this one up, with a ten-dollar price tag, there isn’t much of a reason not to!
My friend just got back from afganistan, and he seems really different. We were best friends in high school, then I went to college and he went into the military. He used to love this game, I think playing it would help him get back to normal. Please help.
