Battle at the Center of the Earth! The bad news is that the evil Dr. Wily is back in town, but the good news is that so is the blue bomber Mega Man! That sinister scientist Dr. Wily is at it again! Now, he and his renegade robots have purloined an off-shore oil rig and are drilling through the Earth’s crust. Take the controls and make Mega Man run, jump, slide, and blast his way through two massive sections with four stages each. if you are into the mega man series and like 2D games, you will love this one, its one of my favorite tittles since I was a child
So here we are again — another great installment of the Mega Man series on Game Boy. Each sequel gets better and better too. :) In addition, the level layouts and the soundtrack feel much closer to its NES counterparts. This time around, Mega Man has to destroy 4 robots from NES’s Mega Man 3 and 4 more from NES’s Mega Man 4:Gemini Man, Shadow Man (he’s STILL one of the hardest to beat because his moves are so unpredictable); Snake Man (my favorite stage/soundtrack in the entire game); Spark Man (the hardest stage of all). After you’ve entered Dr. Wily’s brand new Mountain Top Lair, you will progress through a small stage before taking on Big Suzy (try using Spark Man’s weapon). Next, you will have to deal with Dive Man, Drill Man, Dust Man (the most excruciating stage of all), and Skull Man (my second favorite soundtrack in the game). Dr. Wily will then bring out his latest creation, aptly named Punk. His moves resemble that from Metal Man of NES’s Mega Man 2. He’ll eventually give you the Screw Crusher, which you will need to defeat Dr. Wily’s latest/final incarnation!Lastly, as I’ve stated in previous reviews, be sure to download Mega Man 1 through 5 for your Nintendo 3DS!! :)
its great
Leave it to the developers of the first Game Boy Mega Man game, Minakuchi Engineering, to bring the series back to its full glory on the portable monochrome screen! Blox did an alright job on Mega Man II, but it paled in comparison to its predecessor. Mega Man III, on the other hand, is an utter BEAST of a Game Boy title! If you thought the series couldn’t deliver every bit of the NES charm onto the small screen, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to see and hear the awesomeness Mega Man III delivers! The game follows the same formula as the previous entries.Whatever Robot Masters didn’t already make an appearance in a previous Game Boy title make their mark here as the four levels you must play through before heading off to Dr. Wily’s castle, where you get a selection of Robot Masters from a succeeding NES installment (Mega Man 4 in this case). The levels themselves are completely unique to the Game Boy version, right down to even some of the environments being changed as a whole and level design layouts hardly being any similar to the NES version’s. This all makes for a fresh play even if you played the NES Mega Man 3!The platform/run ‘n gun gameplay is better than ever this time around! The control has been refined to be as tight as on the television screen, and Mega Man can even charge his buster! If you know Mega Man, prepare to expect a ball-busting sense of challenge, because this game is PACKED. Everything’s out to kill you, and things get pretty relentless down the line..
It looks like megaman…it sounds like megaman and I dare u to beat it lol do it
Unless child roll is A midget size child size teenager in other words A thirteen year old roll should not have brest on the upper half of her body referencing to roll from the very first mega man video games series no offense to any persons or peoples who read this review now if i owned this product here i would have a great experience with this product here
My sister is ordering the first three megaman games for gameboy for me, and i think the third one is the best because it is fun and challenging, The NES version is better because it is in color and it is much longer and harder, if u want to buy this game get it for the NES, if u dont have one get it for gameboy(second best choice).
Great Game as my Son Loves it !!!
love this game and happy to have it again. What I did find out is that it’s different then the Wii version but still a great game
A little easier than it’s predecessors due to the ability to charge the mega buster, but a very fun game with very different levels to shoot your way through. It makes me wonder why they ever stopped making Mega Man games this way. (Thanks Mega Man 9)
