Luigi steps out from the shadow of his brother Mario and into the gloomy shadows of a very haunted house in this, his first-ever starring role. As it turns out, Mario is also trapped within the mansion, so along with the help of Professor E. Gadd, Luigi must defeat all 23 of the house’s inhabitants to save Mario and take back the mansion. As Luigi, you’ll search for the keys that open the many locked doors; vacuum coins, cash, and gold bars; and explore vases, bookcases, and drawers. This game is so much fun! I have been playing Luigi’a Mansion games since I was a little kid. It’s so complex and I will say it can be a little difficult, but I think it’s a must for the switch. It’s perfect for all ages and skill levels.Note: When using Gooigi, you have to press on the right joystick instead of the R button.
I am hooked on this game. Very fun. Controls not too confusing. I use the switch pro controller because My hands are too big for the regular switch controllers.This game gives you directions but also gives you a lot of time to explore around and find things. Good mix of fun while not completely eating up all your free time.
I got this game on launch day and played it last Halloween, so yes, I know I’m late with this review, but here I am almost a year later still in love with Luigi’s Mansion 3. I have little else to say that hasn’t already been said about this game. Fun, mysterious, and puzzling. The atmosphere is top-notch, further supplemented by the diverse soundtrack and polished graphics reminiscent of a Pixar film. I avoided going out to Halloween parties (I was in college last year) just to play this game as I had been waiting for this since 2001 and I did not regret it. Dimming the lights and diving into this game with my own bowl of candy was quite the experience. The Last Resort is full of so many details, unique boss ghosts with personalities, and humorous quips. This game made me laugh pretty often, which I wasn’t expecting. Johnny Deepend flexing his muscles then throwing the volleyball at the window and scaring Luigi was peak comedy. Top this off with Polterpup, who’s adorable, and Gooigi, who makes for some very clever puzzles, and you have a game that really must be experienced by everyone. QUICK TIP: use the shoulder buttons for the strobulb and dark light…it frees up your thumbs so that you can easily control Luigi and the Poltergust at the same time.P.S. I captured Marty during my first playthrough and still haven’t forgiven myself.
I’ve been a fam of Luigis mansion since GameCube, and I gotta say Luigis Mansion 3 on switch does not let me down, it stays true to source material with new innovations while still having a story line and funny but spooky gameplay! My rating A+++
My son loves this game, but the controls are more for a boat or something. 1 stick is for moving forward in whatever direction you have oriented Luigi with the other stick, so it is really awkward compared to any of the Mario64 style games.
This game is so darn cute! The graphics are beautiful and the startled reactions from the character is so spot on. The kids really like the game and so do I!
Fun game. Good puzzles. Beat it a little shy of 20 hours but really took my time with it. It could probably be beat in half the time, but there’s a lot of collectibles. I haven’t tried out any of the online or multiplayer component. Game is gorgeous. The art and music are top notch.
Holy Boo!!! I absolutely enjoyed Luigi Mansion 1 and 2 aka Dark Moon but once again Nintendo outdid themselves AGAIN with the FANTASTIC Luigi Mansion 3! I’m so thrilled that Luigi Mansion is back on the console where it belongs since Luigi Mansion 2 aka Dark Moon was slightly not as amazing as Luigi Mansion 1. However, Luigi Mansion 3 is absolutely exciting, fresh, beautiful and a whole lot of fun! Heck, it even has a nice multiplayer mode with 3 different game modes at the moment because nintendo recently announced that there will be future DLC for the multiplayer which is pretty suprising! Do you need to play Luigi Mansion 1 or 2 before playing Luigi Mansion 3? Absolutely NOT! But it wouldnt hurt to play them if you can! Either way, luigi mansion 3 is quickly easy to learn and play, so there is no worries about having to go through a whole hour or so worth of tutorials like so many big budget games have these days. Uh oh! There’s a ghost nearby and I gotta help Luigi suck up the ghost using the new Poltergust G-00 weapon! Gotta go!!!
It is really fun.I mean I am always more into Playstation and PC stuff but recently I got a Switch. For sure I have not played anything from Nintendo for a long time, maybe since GBA era.I mean I just got a Switch so I am itchy to get some game. I checked out this game on Youtube but I didn’t find it exceptionally attractive but I got it anyway.Day two I am five hours into the game and sure it is some great fun. And it runs well. Though Switch is not as powerful as PS or PC but sure it delivers its graphic with style and acceptable smoothness.Yeah Nintendo do got some tricks up their sleeves. Luigi’s Mansion does encourage me to for sure check out other games made by Nintendo themselves. Surely those first party games are pricey and rarely got discounted but now I am convince they worth every penny.
I haven’t gotten very far into the game yet, but it is a very cute game and concept. Fun to play solo or with friends and family
