My grandson played it so much that he wore it out. I had to buy another one. This is a great racing game with a creative section where he can build his own characters. He lets his imagination go wild. Thanks for such a safe and creative game.
Sorry, but this game is no child game but an awesome young adult/ full adult game! I play all the time with my older siblings (in their 20s and 30s). We love playing this advanced game with it’s challenges and fun themed levels. I say this is no kid game because some of the levels and the puppets are quite creepy, it is not for the faint of heart. I cannot wait to try the 2nd one which is in the mail!
I purchased this item because of its popularity, and the fact that it seemed like a free-play game. I bought it for my 4 yr. old because I figured he’d like just running around collecting things. I didn’t realize there would be missions, and some really difficult levels. My son doesn’t like it as much as I’d hoped, but I don’t regret buying it at all!I was pleasantly surprised to fall in love with it myself! I’m a 37 year old woman, so for me to love a game is RARE. Everything is purchased with my son in mind. But Sack Boy is so cute, and I love dressing him up. And some of the missions are so difficult I find myself playing them for hours on end, and even getting stuck on some. I love that I can take my time and enjoy the scenery in some areas, and that I have pressure in others. It’s a very creative game – the only thing of its kind out there.Little Big Planet has turned out to be my favorite game of all time.
our favorite out of many – strange but it grows on you and we love it – my six year old already programs his own levels and did all the tutorials – amazing!!!!!!!!!!! so much to do – will definitely get our money out of it – we have already had it two years almost!!!! I love it too.
Really fun game that’s different than any other. Fun for kids or adults. If you’re looking for something different that’ll keep you entertained for awhile, this is a great choice
I rarely give anything 5 stars, but this game is outstanding. I enjoy the 2d/3d style puzzle game with the 3d photo realism thrown in. Wat make this game special is the ability to build the same level (and publish them for others to play) as pre-built levels that is available for you to play. There is no need to read a manual, as you play the built in tutorial is fun and lite and gradually introduces you to new building techniques slowly enough so you will not forget it.if you are unsure if you like this game check out the web site. This game is grate. My friend love to come over and jump right in its simple arcade stile game play.The bad thing is that its controls are a little frustrating at times. they work just fine, but they do get a little hard around the more complicated levels, also the game is short. some where around 6 to 8 hour.The good thing is that its lodes of fun with free DLC and toons more online. The game play is fun when there are more people playing. The game making is pretty smooth and maybe better in the second game but its easy enough.The game is fun and I am shore that for years to come i can just pop it right in my ps3 and i dont ever have to play the same level twice!!
I had heard about this game but constantly put off getting it. Then I heard about all the awards it was getting. I was like, I love 2D games, I love Mario and Sonic. Shadow Complex was a great Next-Gen 2D game. But what game could possibly be worth all that praise for a 2D game in 2009/2010. Well I downloaded the demo…I was sold in about 2 minutes. Immediately it becomes clear why the game is so much fun. It isn’t a game that takes ideas, this game truly is innovation. The game not only allows you to customize sack boy but also customize just about anything in some way. All sorts of hidden things to be found. There is always about 3-4 panes of the 2D gameplay. I have never played a 2D game with so many areas one can explore. I’ve played two pane 2D games on Neo Geo games such as Top Hunter. But this is something else. The funny thing is, from pictures, you may think the graphics are nothing special. But actually hands-on playing it. Graphically, there is really no 2D game quite like it. Its one of a kind. The gameplay is always fun, sometimes puzzling. You can go at things easy, or you can challenge youself to find all the hidden items. Since the hidden items can actually be used for customization or creation. It makes wanting to find these hidden items much more important then in most other 2D games with hidden objects. The game of the year edition includes several fan made levels and some dlc extras such as the metal gear solid snake pack. Cool litt.
We got a PS3 at the price drop, lots of us did! It was easy to find blu-rays for me and the wife, I got a nice role playing game for myself, and out boys were easy to shop for as well. Lots of first person shooters to choose from of course. But what to do about out 7 year old daughter? There is a dirth of family or female oriented games for the PS3. Enter LittleBigPlanet.Not that it is a girl’s game, it is a people’s game. Our daughter does indeed love it, she dresses up her sackgirl and enjoys new levels for the fun and fashion choices. Sometimes, she just tries out and displays different looks. Not my cup of tea, but then that is the point. It is really the only PS3 game she regularly plays.The rest of us enjoy it too. I usually game a bit after the kids have gone to sleep, and I play LBP much more than I ever imagined. My wife, who rarely plays video games, will play this one. The game is utterly charming. It is a good game without the wonderful, whimsical world, but the world, the animations, the music even, create a game experience that is wholesome, warm, and inviting.This is a different experience in gaming. I suggest you get the game of the year edition so you start out with more levels and more costumes. Your children, or even your inner child, will thank you.Trey
Box came with light use, but that was prefaced. Honesty, everything came fine and I am happy with my purchase. There isn’t much more I can say. Well I guess the voucher for Modnation wasn’t included, and neither was a manual, but I didn’t need either of those things.
