This was a great purchase for my 2-year old son. He absolutely loves the game and playing with us. He also just likes to free play with the pieces which are all very durable and colorful. The game itself is very simple. You take turns rolling the dice and gathering fruit before the raven gets it. It helps your little one identify colors and sort them.My only recommendation is that you possibly change the goal to gathering all the fruit for a picnic with the raven rather than keeping it from the raven. My son immediately wanted to share all the fruit with the raven (and us). It was very sweet so I incorporated it.
We love this game. Our daughter learned how to take turns, and her colors very fast. She still enjoys playing this. The items are very sturdy as the fruit is made of wood as is the crow. This is well made and well designed, your family will love it.
Nice quality product and the game is simple enough for my 2.5 year old to understand. However, he is terrified of the crow and runs into the other room upset if you roll the crow. Might have to find a more friendly game for him to learn how to play board games.
Love everything about it! Highest quality, beautiful—even the box is a pleasure to use! Such fun to play with my 2-1/2 year old grandson. His mother shared that it’s a game he loves to play with his parents and 10-year-old sister, and they all enjoy it. It’s fun to have a nice game of your own for family game night, when you are only 2!
I bought this as the very first board game for my 2.5 year old. She picked up the rules after a few rounds and now asks to play it most days. It’s easy to learn, great quality and my kiddo seems to enjoy it. Recommend!
My favorite! My son is two and this is perfect for him-and our family. There aren’t too many pieces so clean up is easy. Ya easy to play and follow along and the fruit are wooden and well made. We will be buying more like this. Great for colors, sorting,counting,and team work
We played this for the first time with our 2 yo daughter. I was worried that she wouldn’t be able to follow instruction, but she took to it right away. It’s very simple (colors / taking turns /encouraging each other). Love it!
I played this game today with my 3 grandchildren for the first time. This is their first game. HIGHLY recommend this game! It’s super easy to learn and they were able to set the game up completely on their own after a few rounds. My youngest grandchild is 2 and oldest is 4 1/2 and they all played together. It is a team game which is great! LOVE this game!
I got this for my daughter’s 3 year birthday and she loves it! I can tell that she would have understood the concept even 6 months ago because it’s an easy game to learn.It’s so well made… I know it’ll last through all my kiddos. AND one of the main reasons I got is is because it didn’t have any choking hazard pieces. I have a baby and I know we want more so not having to worry about small pieces is a big plus in this household. And when my eldest daughter isn’t playing with it my baby loves the big pieces. =)Super cute and a great family game. I can just see my 2 girls playing with it together when they’re a bit older. =)
