I loved it
It’s for adult only.Kill and F… averything you see! This game was made for vent anger. Free yourself to do it so! The graphics are amazing the character is a badass. Pure adrenaline. I normally like Zelda kind of story. But this one…Oooh! It helps you to bring the dark side of you.XD
Just like the ones before, the best hack and slash game to my opinion, the multiplayer is very entertainment, if you are a Kratos fan, you must have this game!
I’m a huge fan of GOW and I’ve completed almost all the games. I was missing this one but now that I have, I’ll have a GOW session this coming weekend.
I bought this as a gift so I don’t have any real persona experience with it but retrolio won’t stop bugging me until I review it so here we go.If you’ve played a God of War game before then you know what you’re getting into. Button mashing, epic violence, and strangely satisfying bad-guy-killing that’s a great way to kill many, many hours.My brother won’t stop raging about how great the game is. If you’ve played prior God of War games, then you know what to expect. If you liked it then, you’ll like it now. Recommended for God of War fans.
Well, I went through it a couple of times now and maintains much of the same game play of previous editions. Graphics are pretty much the same as GoW3 and there are only minor changes to the interface used. A very enjoyable game. As with previous versions, not for little ones. A minor amount of nudity but full on gore – some up close eviscerations. This is just part of the genre of these games.Plot line is pretty good, and makes for a fairly decent "prequel" to the GoW saga. Have not played on the hardest settings yet, the first two settings are pretty easy and I blew through the game in a few days. Unlock "Titan Mode" and it should be a very challenging romp.
Very underrated game. This game stacks up well against the previous one and it is no easy task since GOW3 set the bar really high. Graphics is top notch and it looks a little bit better than GOW3. I think it is more detailed. Combat is more or less similar. Game is still challenging especially the trial of Archimedes but GOW2 is still the most challenging I think. I play on Hard difficulty.Parrying is not as powerful as before and grappling also has been weakened. Soundtrack is as good as ever. I just love how the sound of the drum helps your blood rush through your veins as you are preparing for an epic showdown with one of the bosses. Sound effects is the best in the series. You can really hear the impact of the weapon hitting the enemy. This game is a treat to look at and it is also fun. This game is of top quality. This series needs another entry. It is just too good. I am also playing the remastered version of GOW3 and it looks fantastic. Just imagine what people that made this game can do with the next gen consoles. One more thing. This game also has multiplayer but I have not tried it. Anyway, people play this for the single player experience.
This is a truly Epic game, if you played any God of War games before then you should definitely try this one. This game takes place before Kratos killed Ares or any God, while he was a man still bonded to Ares.
The game itself is pretty great, as have all the games in the GoW series.However, my issue is with the default retrolio shop CLICKFORGAMESUkltd. The game they send you is the PAL format. Yes, games on the PS3 are region free, which means a PAL (European) game can be played on a NTSC (US) system. UNFORTUNATELY, if you want to play online with your online pass or download any of the game’s DLC, you need to download/redeem them at the PAL (European) PSN store. If you have a US system, you do not have access to the PAL PSN store without creating a new account (which I was not interested in doing, as an account can be banned for using false information).I was unaware that I would be receiving a PAL version of the game and would not have ordered it had I known. Nowhere in the listing does it say that you are ordering a PAL version.
I will try to keep my first video game review short and sweet. Buy this game, I was wondering how this game would top part three and I must say that does so in a way that Uncharted 3 did in the gameplay and graphics department and I remember when uncharted 3 came out and the development team was saying that there is an improvement just not as major as uncharted 1 to Uncharted 2 was and the changes to gameplay are more subtle than major enough that familiar players will notice and appreciate and new players should find intuitive. I didn’t think that the graphics could get any better than part 3 but i was proven wrong and i hope that they will continue the franchise on PlayStation 4 because Greek Mythology has a vast universe that can be further explored and many stories to tell. I found the furies to be quite enjoyable they remind me of the sisters of fate from God of War 2 and I like the way they would mess with Kratos’s sense of reality similar to what the maker does to Issac Clarke in Dead Space 2 primarily. The way God of War does quicktime events further blurs the line between games and movies and redefines the word epic, nobody does it like Sony Santa Monica. God of War has plenty of replay ability just based on the boss fights alone ( I can’t even tell you how many times I have replayed the Cronos boss battle from part 3, that is demo material to show people how a boss battle is done correctly) and God of War ascension delivers in that department as well.
