Our son loves this! I don’t think there is a charger out there for it… we go through a lot of batteries. The one retrovgames recommends is for another game systemBut still , it’s great! Works perfectly and has been used a ton since Christmas.
The game boy works just fine, but the screen is not bright enough.
We were very happy with this purchase. My son used this as a first experimentation for a new mod hand held. Everything worked great. Thanks!retrovgames

Some of these reviews really crack me up!Considering the era it came out in, the original GBA is perhaps the greatest portable console of all time. But it’s now 20+ year old hardware so know what you’re getting. People are complaining about the backlight not working–this thing has no backlight! The screen is hard to see? Yeah, it sure is–welcome to my childhood! This is like buying a Sony Walkman and complaining that for some strange reason the tapes don’t hold as many songs as your brand new iPhone. The only reason you’d buy a GBA in 2021 is as a collectable and for the sake of nostalgia.
Came with “trash” in the box to protect the gameboy I guess. Other than that it came as expected.
