Great figure to buy, got it fast to.
love it!
perfext!! son loved it
If your looking for one of those Gi Joe Snake Eyes figures out there; this figure is it! This City Strike Snake Eyes from Gi Joe: the Rise of Cobra line resembles the Snake Eyes that you may have seen in Gi Joe:Resolute the animated movie! Hasbro got it right with this Snake Eyes; he is not too buffed out, a little slender but chiseled enough (..a perfect representation of what snake eyes should look like; you have to remember he is a Ninja slash Commando)! This figure poses really well! City Strike Snake Eyes is an awesome figure! I might have to pick up another one of these City Strike Snake Eyes & not open him up! When you think of what Snake Eyes embodies & resembles; this is the Snake Eyes that pops up to mind (..what he should look like)! Once again awesome figure; and I recommend this figure to those out there who are looking to collect a few figures but not all! -This figure is worth the price of admission! This City Strike Snake Eyes rivals that of the Gi Joe: Renegades Storm Shadow; where Hasbro has brought the perfection in these characters out in action figure form! FIVE out of FIVE stars!!!!
One of the better "post25th anniversary" SnakeEyes, but I’M NOT going to rate it "the best." This is the second best modern SnakeEyes after the POC desert battle version, maybe ??? When it came out in 2009/10, it earned a lot of fanboy praise, but has since been usurped in some hearts by newer versions of the character… The price markup maybe justified if you’re a completest or want a Resolute-era SnakeEyes. As with all older merchandise, beware of aftermarket shops promising "new" condition for "mint condition" dollars. My SE’s card was bent during the shipping process.
10 year old grandson was happy with it.
Since I was a kid Snake Eyes has been my absolute favorite GI JOE character, so I was very excited to see a new rendition of this character. In addition I was excited to see a rendition of this character modeled after his appearance in the GI JOE RESOLUTE cartoon/series.Good:I thouroughy enjoyed the sculpt on this figure. Sculpted after Snake Eye’s appearance in GI Joe RESOLUTE, this figure captures the likeness incredibly well. He has a cool belt and webbing vest, not sculpted on but permanantely attached, which gives this figure a realistic appearance. In addition I really like the tech-ninja look that they gave this figure. This figure (like most new GI Joes) came with a “crap ton” of accessories: 1 katana, 1 scabbard, 1 assault rifle, 1 sub-machine gun, 1 pistol, 1 combat knife, 1 small backpack, 1 huge backpack with a rope and hook, 2 rock climbing over shoes, and a display stand. Whew. All of these accessories are well painted and relatively detailed (for 3.75 figures anyways). If snake eyes were a real soldier he would either be happy to have all the equipment needed to liberate a small country, or he would complain about having to hump all that crap. The articulation on this figure is standard for most current era GI Joes. There are a wide range of poses that can be achieved to display him doing what he does best, being a ninja commando. I was dissapointed with the limited range movement with some of these joints however, more poses could definetely be attained if the j.
This figure is one of my favorites, whether it be because it depicts Snake Eyes in a very cool and new outfit, the figure itself is just so fantastic, or the fact that the sword is placed in such a non-traditional, yet really awesome, way. Anyway, as stated before, this figure is fantastic. The accessories are very, very plentiful and appropriate, consisting of a variety of guns, a knife, the aforementioned sword and accompanying hilt, a tiny backpack, two spiked shoes, and huge backpack with two grappling hooks connected by string. The articulation is really, really good. The paint job may not be entirely accurate to the show that it derives from, but it is still very good none the less. The only problem (more like a nitpick) I have at all with this figure is how the sub-machine gun fits poorly in either of Snake Eyes’ hands, though that’s more a fault with the gun, not the figure. Overall, I would give this figure a 5 out of 5.
From one of the final waves of the Rise of Cobra Line, City Strike Snake Eyes came as a bit of a blindside to many and completely alien to the uninformed; he looks nothing like the other RoC Snake Eyes. The reason for both of these is because CS SS is in fact based on his appearance in the G.I. Joe: Resolute animation. So how does this figure hold up to the standard of crazy awesome set by both the animation, previous figures, and character itself? Pretty darn good.Let’s discuss articulation first. The joints are firm yet smooth, and while it uses the same articulation as all other 25th/ME/RoC Joes, Snake Eyes feels unusually flexible, which is good, because this allows for all sorts of absurd Ninja poses, from a drop kick to a lunging strike. His accessories are also quite impressive. Ol’ Snakey comes armed to the teeth with a G36K carbine, pistol, knife, and MP9 sub-machine gun that was previously included with the other RoC Snake Eyes and City Strike Duke, as well as his signature sword and sheath, clawed shoes that were included with the Snow Serpent, and two backpacks; the small one that was seen in Resolute, and a backpack with a working rappel mechanism in lieu of the ridiculous spring-loaded missile launchers or handle bars-on-suction cups seen elsewhere in the line. The sword is surprisingly sturdy despite its thin and flimsy appearance, and fits snugly into the sheath. It should be noted that unlike previous versions of Snake Eyes, this sheath actually attaches to t.
Great set! I love it!
