I liked this "game." I placed the word game in quotes because it’s more like entry-level animation software. I think many of the critics were too harsh in that this was far more a simulation/construction type of software than a lightning fast fighting game. For that I have games like SoulCalibur. If anything, it plays a great deal like Virtua Fighter 1.The models that they give you aren’t among the most original, but they do what they were intended to do. Given the limitations of the PS1 and the fact that this was on a single disc, I was amazed at what the software *did* allow you to do. The limitations of the wireframe models in the animate mode can get annoying, but they’re easy to fix–simply confirm the selection, if the orientation is wrong, you can go back into that particular command menu and solve the problem. The frame by frame animation is quite good-if you’re willing to put in the time and make what animators call "key frames" every five frames or so. The computer will do a good job getting from point A to point B most of the time, and if it’s a simple movement it usually looks pretty natural. If it’s more complex–like someone falling–it helps to plan your movement scheme out ahead of time and most of all, *be patient.* Also, don’t expect a lot of background music. It helps to listen to your favourite CDs while building your characters.I give it four stars because I don’t like the fact it requires an entire memory card to save one character. Co.
Good.
Just what it was like when i played this as a kid! Perfect!
This game is really good. It reminds me of Tekken. It’s a lot of fun to play with when you’re bored and got nothing else to do and you choose any type of martial arts you want.
So, as I mentioned in my previous review which was the Wii HD cords, my girlfriend had broke up with me. Instead of boozing it all away, I chose to play Fighter Maker. See with it’s highly rendering graphics and it’s immersible fighting editor, you can make all sorts of Fighting moves. The learning curve is pretty hard and it is pretty challenging at first but once you get it, you can make moves that rival reatil games like Tekken 2 and Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade. My girlfriend broke up with me and I haven’t been this sad since 9/11 and when my dog died. So instead of beer, I chose video games to fill the void as I hunt for the perfect woman. The unfaithful companion is now replaced by a NTSC PS1 Fighter Maker. She took my ps1 but she doesn’t know I can use my PS3 >B).Unlike what Tim Buckley wrote in his unfaithful companion webcomic, Fighter Maker can matched up to the likes of Tekken easily. This is really time consuming and I love it. More than that unfaithful person I WONT MENTION AGAIN. I am over her. I am really over her. This game is all I need
