Classic dynasty warriors game. Love the split screen function. My wife and I love wailing on armies like we are merciless gods.
I don’t understand why all the negative reviews about this game. You can enjoy this game.Things I like about it is that you can buy many hideouts and costumize it however you want. You can add a crafting table, cooking pot, closet and much more. The more you explore the map you will come across plenty of way points that gives you experience points to level up.You do not have to complete every quests. You can simply go straight to the main quest and complete it. But completing the subquests will make the main quest much easier. Some complain about the frame rate like its a big deal. I don’t pay attention to that. Some complained that there’s nothing to do on the open world, that its empty. Its based on Han Dynasty China era. You won’t find a car. I did however, found the Great Wall of China. There’s a lot of things you can craft so guess what you have to do in order to craft them…Some complained that the English voices sound bad. That one I agree. I changed it to Chinese. This game ain’t getting the love it deserves. Don’t compare this game to other open world games. You will be disappointed if you do.
Great game!!
Bon jeu pour les fans de la série
It’s more in-depth than the other Dynasty Warriors. It’s different, most people don’t like it, but I think they just haven’t figured it out.
This is quite a departure from previous titles in the series. I’ve put about 6 hours into it so far and I’m liking the changes. The large open world is quite vast and fun to explore, which you do while moving to battles and gathering resources. You unlock playable characters thru skirmishes. Doing all quests will ensure several hours of playability. For my money this installment was worth the long wait!
The best presentation of the story to date, with lots of detailed plot points and dialogue taken straight from the novel. There are a multitude of cutscenes per chapter for each faction. The open world is tremendously large, possibly the largest of any game to date. Terrain varies from the humid tropical forests of Nanzhong to the frigid, icy mountains of the northern border. For the first time ever, you actually feel immersed in the war of the Three Kingdoms period. Combat is extremely fluid and fast-paced, with the ability to make endless combos against brutal waves of peons. Mandarin voiceover is a much-needed and welcomed addition. The major technical issues were more or less fixed with the multiple patches released since launch. The biggest issue with the game for me is the loss of some of the best, unique weapons–namely Yue Jin’s twin hooks and Sima Yi’s horsetail whisk, as well as a few others. Gameplay does get repetitive after a while, but the same can be said for any Musou game ever. Otherwise, this title blows every past Dynasty Warriors game out of the water.
I’ve been playing Dynasty Warriors since the 3rd…and 9 is definitely my favorite! Which is funny to me, since I see so many bad reviews on it. Dynasty Warriors 9 is Koei’s attempt to breathe life into the series, and they do, without a doubt. This game has twice the strategy and depth of any of its predecessors : constantly evolving, dynamic battlefield, open world, quests, new fighting system, and the soldiers actually pose a challenge? YES. There are RPG elements as well – another reason to love this game. Its one of the only Dynasty Warriors games I’d call "rough", but its excusable. The game is ambitious and a step into realms unknown…trying something new is always a gamble, but they did it, and its a POSITIVE Step forward. I’m glad they tried something new, because I didn’t enjoy Dynasty Warriors 7, 8, and all the 7/8 variants…didn’t enjoy the mechanics or gameplay at all. Give this game a chance! Its a new beginning, an evolutionary step towards a greater Dynasty Warriors. I’m looking forward to what comes next.
Package received with no delay, sealed not broken, brand new as advertised no issue there, the videogame will not appeal to the fans of the series.
Interesting take on the game, gets repetitive but enjoyable
