This game is truely amazing! I would recomment to every who likes FPS games, especially Halo and Call of Duty. My description of this game is simply this: If Halo and COD combined and make a Jesus-Baby (the best of each game), thats Crysis 2. I enjoy every feature of this game and it’s so action-pacted (multiplayer and campaign). I could never get sick of it. I can’t wait until Crysis 3 comes out this year! Let’s not forget to mention that it’s also THE BEST graphics game to date. (Similar graphics to Skyrim)
Awesome graphical engine, supports multiple play styles. You can sneak around or go all out guns blazing. Do yourself a favour and play this game on "super soldier" difficulty and it will keep you on the edge of your seat, couch or whatever. What makes this a four and not five star game is it’s inability to save and reload your game. It’s annoyingly a checkpoint game. If you fail your objective or get blown to pieces – it’s back to the last checkpoint which can be 10 to 15 minutes earlier.Aside from that – this still is a technical masterpiece showcasing what a Xbox 360 can do if you let it. If you even remotely like stealth action games or shooters, give this a try! The story boils down to "kill all aliens" and opposing forces mostly though ;)
I Love this game
I had never played any of the previous Crysis games, as I don’t have a gaming PC, but I had heard a lot about those games, in particular the graphics. My expectations were for a pretty game, which would hopefully be fun. What I got is a game that is amazing looking and that I’m enjoying playing more than probably any game since I put in the original Gears of War.1. Graphics. The level of detail on individual objects, combined with the draw distance and just sheer awesomeness that is frequently on the screen at any given time blows anything up to this point on 360 out of the water. All that in a frequently vibrant world of near future, devestated Manhattan. Take that both Gears of War and Halo. Also, the environment reacts. Wood barriers splinter when hit with gunfire for example.2. Sound/score. It has been previously mentioned but it bears repeating. The score is fantastic. Sometimes it feels like Predator (I wish I could remember everything that comes to mind), but throughout the score is the equal to any great action movie you have ever seen and is always appropriate to what environment you are in/what is happening on screen. As far as the sound effects, this is one I can’t comment on because I have them cranked way down due to having an infant son.I do also enjoy the voice acting, it’s not the best ever but it’s good, with lots of ambient dialogue from other characters in the story.3. Story. Speaking of story. I had heard that Richard Morgan, author of Altered.
Lets make this review short but sweet.ProsGreat FPS with sandbox style gameplayWell balanced play mechanicsNanosuit abilities distinguish this game from other first person shootersAmazing graphics and sound designMusical score sounds like a big budget movieMultiplayer is fun and keeps you coming back for more with the ability to enhance your character as you progressConsStory and dialogue: basically B movie qualityInability to skip in game cutscenes (not loading cut scenes I know those can’t be skipped)AI- When the AI just stands around not noticing you kill their comrades or just walks into a wall it can hurt the feeling of immersionHas some bugsOverallWith a better story and competent AI this game could have been amazing but as it is I still really enjoyed it as it feels fresh compared to other FPS’s on the market right now. When its at its best you feel like an unstoppable soldier in a big budget sci fi flick. It is impressive how they got the 6 yr old 360 to play a game with a cutting edge graphics engine that while not as good as pc still looks pretty good. I would definitely recommend this game
I do like this game but its not as good as the original. I would recommend it to anyone who has played the original Crysis though
Awesome game,it is visually great, and love the "cloak on" and "maximum armor" quotes when engaging in combat
