It is fun to play, runs smooth, and looks (compared to the PC version, anyway) pretty crisp. Personally, the feature I use the most is the Custom Soundtrack ability. What could be more enjoyable than listening to "Cop Killer", "Bodies", or The Dogg Pound’s "What Would U Do M.F.?" as you pounce off on a kill-crazy terrorist rampage with a bunch of aquantainces? This is also a good deal via system link, but if you are muy pobre, that doesn’t work either.That’s all, oh yeah, get stoned and spend your tax return at the strip bar!
I just bought this game about 20 minutes ago. I played it for 5 minutes and wanted to throw it away. The graphics are weak, game play is choppy and it is an all around boring game. I really wished I rented it first. I am going to trade this one away a.s.a.p.
I’ve played counter strike for many years, and this is by far the best version that valve has produced. The graphics are very well done, and the bots give you a unique experience every round. The one thing I dislike is the fact it is NOT multiplayer. Although you can play X-box live, the multiplayer is nice for those that don’t have x-box live. This game is worth buying if you have X-box live, if you don’t, stick with the PC version.
The Game is great, It came before the due date posted for arrival so thats a big plus. Also the game came in Excellent condition and has been playing great since I got it. Although the game can not be played Multi-player by split screen and that kind of was not good since most of the bots in the game are a bit bad.But I think you can play Online so if that is the case you wont have to constantly play with bots that tend to sometimes do odd things like not deactivate a bomb when you are about to win.
Came in fantastic shape, original Chinse book I had in my first copy I originally bought from blockbusters years ago. So i paid the same price after 14 years which is awesome. I’d expect this game to be worth 50 used like Timesplitters. Disc doesn’t have one scratch, dust im pretty sure is from my house since I’ve been playing it and I have pets lol. Great game to have and run with friends and great source to buy from. Game works perfect, only tried miami and Italy but those were the best! 5 stars

Counter-Strike is a 1st person shooter game, one of the most popular games ever on PC.If you are looking for a game to play Single player, Counter-Strike is not the game for you. There is a single player mode, but it has no storyline and is basically a practice mode where you can choose the stages and just play them over and over again. You can’t play co-op or multiplayer on the same XBOX. You can however link two XBOX’s and play multiplayer though.Now if you are looking for a game to play XBOX live, THIS IS AWESOME on XBOX live! There is always plenty of games going on all day all hours of the day (Yes even you graveyard zombies). You can play with up to 16 players, meaning 2 teams of 8. There is different types of games, like hostage rescue, bomb defusing or planting. Amazingly, the games take teamwork to win. The maps are highly detailed, huge, and laid out very nicely. There are plenty of maps to choose from also. Of course this supports headset, so you are able to talk with (only) your teammates and strategize, well until they are killed, then their mic cuts off! This is the best multiplayer game I have played on XBOX live.Basically, if you have XBOX live and are looking for a 1st person shooter, Counter-Strike is the game to get. If you don’t have XBOX live, the lack of Single player and story mode makes this game dull and boring.
Counter Strike trully is an amazing title, as old as it is, it still holds it’s own. The game that kinda started the entire squad based shooter genre, and made LAN, and WAN play a new trend.Though technically, not as deep as many of the newer FPS, CS is like the Pac-Man of first person shooters, or of even the last 7 years or so. This version like the PC version of Counter Strike is for network play, and is made for XBOX Live! But included in this version is a ‘single player’ mode, and a ‘training’ mode. The single player mode is just as fun as playing on XBOX Live, with bots instead of human counter-parts. Somehow this game really shines in a LAN environment, most people have played this in a cyber-cafe running a LAN, before broadband really took off, this was the way to play.For those that have never played CS, you are either a Terrorist, or a CT/Counter Terrorist. There are two different objectives available, depending on the map, for the Terrorists. Some maps require the Terrorists to blow up/demolish a site, or take hostages. While the CT team as to either rescue the hostages, or eliminate the entire Terroist force, and or diffuse the bomb if planted. You get a full spectrum of assault rifles, sub-machine guns, fragment grenades, smoke bombs, flash bang grenades, body armor, and heavy artillery like shotguns, and chain fed machine guns, sniper rifles, secondary weapons, like hand guns. The guns are based on real present day weapons, the Terrorists and Counter T.
It’s old and fun Its a nice Time waster
do any of you realize the magnitude of this game. If you have played cs before you know what im talking about. It probly wont be as good as the pc origanal but it definately wont be a waste of money. New levels, charecters, guns and xbox live and maybe even xsn this game will be the xbox title that will give halo 2 a run for its money.
