The game is great, but for being someone who doesn’t really like baseball for me it still does get boring after a while

I get the major three sports games during every one of their seasons (Madden, NBA/MLB 2K) and this is definitely a good one.

I used to play baseball, so baseball games are my favorite. My favorite baseball games are MLB 2000 and triple play 2001 on ps1, high heat 2003 and MVP 2004 on ps2, MLB the show 2010 and 2012 and MLB 2k11. While the show is the complete package for baseball fanatics I feel the pitcher/hitter interface is boring. This is the biggest part of the game and 2k sports has excelled at this since 2k7. 2k sports pitcher/hitter interface is extremely fun and exciting. The rest of the game of fielding and base running are easy to execute as well. This game is not as hard ad the show and will appeal to casual players and baseball fans looking for a fun baseball game. MLB today and MLB season link ups via the Internet are back and a lot of fun to interact with. The graphic look good, although the show blows this game away in this area. 2k has the best commentary of any sports game out there, I just wish there were more sounds from the stadium. This year there is a post season mode, which is also an addition to the show. One big disappointment in the years games is that I don’t see any big changes from last years game in this game or the show. I usually alternate each year between the two games when I purchase, but will rent both before buying. I went with 2k13 this year because one Im a rays fan and two i purchased the excellent MLB the show 2012 last year. As I noted earlier my three favorite baseball games this generation are the show 2010 & 2012 and MLB 2k11. I am also really lik.
This one was a Christmas present for my husband’s nephew, so there’s not much I can say about it, other than the kid loved it!
A lot of the reviews for this game make me laugh. People say not much has changed, well duh!! The game was just announced in January. 2K’s contract with MLB expired and it looked as if there would be no baseball game on the 360 this year. At the last minute they were able to work out a deal and now 2K13 is out. 2K didn’t have a lot of time to change a bunch of things and personally I am just glad we have this title. Yes I know The Show is better but I do not have a PS3.I have yet to encounter any of the glitches mentioned in some of the reviews and there have been more minor changes than some people seem to notice. They play is much smoother and they updated and added in a bunch of new animations.People are mad that online leagues are out but I never played those so that does not effect me.Overall this is a good game considering how little time 2K was given to work on it. If you have a PS3 get The Show but this isn’t a bad title at all and people need to stop expecting so much out of things.
this is a very good game i play it so much i can hit homeruns back to back but this game is even fun when you play with someone
