Probably the best fighting game on gameboy. Also works with Super gameboy multiplayer.
It’s wonderfully cheesy. If you want mindless, arcade style fighting on the gameboy, this is perfect for you. As an added bonus, there are some hilarious translation issues in character dialogue.
I had been a fan of the main PS series when I got this port. Surprisingly for a port, it was very well done. Great 2D graphics for its time, fluid animation and input, and most importantly, great gameplay. Its cutscenes also have a sense of humor that the main game’s convulted storyline (unfortunately) lacked. While the original game has not aged well to me, I still like to dust off my Gameboy Advance and play this one to this day. Highly recommended.
this game i always love i use have when kid and i been wishing i still had it so i bought it
This was the first time Battle Arena Toshinden is ported into Game Boy. For Game Boy collectors will love this.
I remember watching my brother play this game on his gameboy (back when they weighed like a brick and used 4 batteries!).It was fun, the music was catchy, and the characters looked interesting.I have this game mostly for nostalgia, but it is still as fun to have as it was back then. Now if only I could get the moves down right for the special attack (-_-)
