Mario Tennis Aces brings fun and excitement to a sport that I’m not really interested in real life. The game itself is really easy to get a hang of, the adventure mode is challenging, online gameplay is really competitive but not impossible to catch up with the best. Nintendo has been adding free DLC characters which is nice. My only complaint is the limited soundtrack of the game will drive you nuts after a while. Other than that this is a really good party game and would recommend buying!
Really reminiscent of the old N64 mario tennis game with cool additions. I really enjoy this game and it doesn’t require to much thinking but it’s one of those couch-potato point ball and click type of game. Perfect for after work when you just don’t want to think about anything. Highly recommended if you’re not too complex of a gamer and just want a simple straightforward game.
Great tennis game! The standard mode has a fighting game quality to it, the simple mode is classic tennis and reminds me sooo much of Sega’s addictive and classic Virtua Tennis from the Dreamcast, and the swing mode is fun and very challenging (as in it is way harder than the Wii tennis)! Playing online has been enjoyable – the multiplayer is the real meat of this game and I am really hoping nintendo continues to build on it as they have with Arms and Splatoon 2. I do wish story mode was a little… more, and I would love to see some mini games or trials available outside of the story mode as well. If this is on sale for $40-45 grab it. I picked it up at $45 and no regrets!
It is a good game. To spend some time with friends. I still prefer Mario Tennis for Gamecube.
This is a solid mario sports game. It has a nice single player offering and solid multiplayer. It can get challenging with the AI or other people but there is something for everyone here.
