This game is a genre of its own!In between game play there is some pretty corny and pretty horrible character interaction, but I think that is because they were trying to use the popularity and look of games like Persona.This is a tower defense game! But your Tower is the middle of a circle and enemies come from all directions. The part the is really unique is you can rotate or spin different zones of your tower circle to not only aim your defenses at the enemy, but if you line up certain towers they will combine into a larger more powerful version (more damage, more range, larger area of effect).For a tower defense game it is pretty active at first, over time you will open more defense slots and if you fully invest in a city’s defense you defenses will pretty much passively take care of all the enemies. I suggest you think of this as when you out level an area in a classic RPG, and not hold it against the game.

Very underrated.Tower defense or not. I hope it gets some sort of sequel. The characters are great and the world around it has potential to give us a great RPG/Tower defense hybrid sequel.But those are dreams.
So I wasn’t expecting much from this game when I purchased it. I’m a big RTS game player but to my delight it is a very fun game, light hearted and very animated. I have been addicted to the game for hours. I would suggest adding this little Gem to your collection.

its a different Kind of game, it can get repetetive, and the voice acting is sooo dull. But its unique, so if you are looking for that and you can get this cheap, definitely give it a try.-
bought this out of pity from not seeing anyone talk about it and having seen a trailer.im really glad i did as the characters are full of comedy and life with the gameplay being great fun.its an interesting take on tower defense ala pixelunk monsters etc etc except the towers are built in a "zone " which is one of 4 circles around your tower and during battle you can rotate any zone to aim the guns to whichever side you desire.
