I must have for fans off ace combat
While not as refined as its PS2-era descendants The Unsung War and The Belkan War, Shattered Skies is still one of the best arcade flight sims out there. The story and music are epic in that camp way that only Japanese writers can manage, though there is a bit less of a player-focused narrative than the later games had. The missions are well-designed and engaging, though I found them harder than the ones in later Ace Combats because even though the enemy AI is less sophisticated, the controls are not quite as tight, the missiles are less accurate, and all of the planes have very finite amounts of cannon ammunition.
This is my spouse’s favorite game. Fun air combat, great environments, great after-action instant replay, great music, great story. Excellent selection of planes. This game really aged well and is still fun to play.
Ace Combat 4, 5, 0 are must-play video games. The best of the best.
Never before did I play a flying game and like it as much as I liked this one. Purchased this again just to renew my collection and have the game in new condition with the original case and evreything. Ace Combat is one of the greatest flight franchises. As a matter of fact, I can’t think of any other game in the same genre that is as good or even better. Maybe that’s just me and I haven’t played any other flight games, or maybe it just is one of the best franchise out there. (Not sure if i used the franchise correctly but you guys get what I mean).

Although this game is kind of old, I believe that it is still a very good game worthy of getting for anything under $20. I bought it at this price and was extremely satisfied. It is a very difficult game, however, and I have only been able to beat it on easy even though I am a vetran player of CFS games,and have even survived in Janes USAF. If you like CFS games, this is definately one for you.P.S. This is the first CFS game that I ever played so I may be being a little bias when I say that this game is Awsome!
